This was exactly what we were looking for - A comfortable upscale pub with good food and authentic atmosphere. We would definitely stay at the Buck again.
I stayed three nights on business. The room (4 Kisses - named after a very nice beer) was spotless, the bed comfortable and the shower terrific. Breakfast is served in the pub bar area and was typical fare but very very tasty.
The restaurant is clearly popular and the food quality very very good.
The staff could not be more helpful and I am looking forward to my next stay in the Honingham Buck,
We really enjoyed staying here. Our room was attractively decorated and beautifully cool despite the 30 degree heat outside. The pub had plenty of atmosphere. The meals were delicious (evening and breakfast) and the garden was a bonus in hot weather. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We would certainly stay again.
Just what we needed - recommended as 2 night stay around a local wedding and did the job perfectly. Spotless well appointed rooms, lovely breakfast, easy parking.
Located in a very quiet little village, the accomodation is situated behind the pub. The rooms are - I suppose you would describe as - chalet style. They are very clean, tidy and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints about my stay there.
But, I would add one piece of information to consider. The car park and access to the rooms is covered in small pebbles, shingle etc. Though I did notice that certain rooms had a clear path running to them from the rear of the pub. But if you have to walk over the shingle, it can be a little tricky if you're not stable on your feet - or foot in my case as I'm an amputee. I would imagine it would be a nightmare pushing (or wheeling yourself) a wheelchair. If this is you, I would advise speaking to the accommodation in advance of your arrival, I'm sure they would do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable.
