We booked a privilege suite because it looked like the boutique style that we were after for our romantic night away. We actually planned our night with that ambience. I was so disappointed it was so bare!! Looked like everything had been removed?? We had a bed, desk & 1 chair!! Yes we had all the little extras, well we had to ask as there was no information indicating them, no leaflets? Yes I did get an apology plus a complimentary breakfast which would have been lovely if we had some sleep! The room 205 is right above a bar that doesn’t go quiet till 4am then an hour later the brewery delivery arrives! So we never indulged breakfast as we just needed to vacate & get some peace! They said it was undergoing a renovation which I appreciate but wish they had stated the rooms would be different as it was not what we expected. Waste of money really.

Large bedroom but bed pushed right up against the window and lots of empty space - didn’t really make sense. Shower was slow to drain. Fantastic location right in the heart of the city. Noise plugs were provided which made us nervous, but it wasn’t too bad once the second window pane was closed.

Ideal city centre location with everything you need nearby. Given the location, we were blown away by how quiet the room was at night - neither of us heard a peep from the street below! Would definitely stay again.

Historic building right in the centre of Nottingham. Quirky rooms in keeping with its age. There are some bits that are needing updating, carpet ripped, marks on walls, but it was clean, tidy and great value for money for its location and what we needed. The parking is a 2 minute walk to Lace Street car park.

The room was a bit on the small side but the bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom needed a little TLC. I had read some reviews about it being really noisy however didn’t notice this at all. I would stay again if I needed to. Shame parking isn’t subsidised anymore as £18 is a little spicy.

The room was the smallest Hotel room Ive been to and was just big enough to fit a double bed, so disappointing. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired. The toilet had not thoroughly cleaned. I never give negative feedback but this was poor im afraid exoected better from a Mecure Hotel
