Location is excellent, close to tram stop on main square and lots of shops and eateries. Rooms are clean and quite generous in size. They include a fridge, iron/ironing board, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a large TV. Bathroom had bath and overhead hose showers which are a big bonus. However, noise insulation between rooms is terrible as we were kept awake into the early hours of the morning by the guests next door. Also, there was no low level lighting option near the bed for night time reading, etc. All things considered, we have stayed here on previous occasions, and will most likely stay again.

Stayed 2 nights here, took my 68 year old mother away for a city break. Hotel room was lovely and things were goin well. However one morning, walking through reception my mother and i witnessed a male employee physically abuse. A female emplyee. She was reduced to tears. He was unapologetic about it and actually told me to write a review. This ruined the whole weekend and stay here. It was an awful experience.

The hotel is lovely and the breakfast is good The downside was the area is right at the top of a busy bar street and the bass from the club was loud. Other than that it was all good.

Hotels.com doesn’t make it clear you need to book the parking. Hotel only has 24 spaces. I couldn’t get a spot. Other than the parking all fine.

Great location.
Hotel was in a great location. Staff were really nice, room was small and a bit outdated but for one night was fine. Shame you could hear so much noise from other rooms. Would stay here again but hopefully in a different room.

Great all round hotel
Friendly welcoming staff, great breakfast selection. Clean and comfy bedrooms, bathroom was a decent size with a bath, water/fridge provided and well placed mirrors for being able to do your hair/make up comfortably, desk to work from aswell. Great hotel overall

Ok, but very loud till early hours
Hotels serves a purpose. Not too expensive, clean, but dated. However, beware, the rooms in the front have a lot of traffic noise well into the night. The rooms on the side have a bar opposite with loud music / bass booming till 2:30am. Also, booked twin beds via hotels.com, but it only came through as a “request” to the hotel, who assigned us doubles. We eventually got twins, but the check in person said they only had it as a request. Why they had ignored the request is beyond me
