Comfy Cozy Cabin

My husband and I spent a week in this very charming and cozy home. It definitely has that cabin feeling that we wanted, while providing all the amenities of home. This home is well maintained and the decor is quaint. It's located only one mile or so from Bass Lake, so the daily trek to the lake was quick and easy. We definitely recommend this cabin home to anyone looking to spend time at Bass Lake. Thank you again for sharing your very beautiful and comfy home with us. Rae Lynn Gomez

Nice Family Weekend

My husband and I stayed at this property with our two boys (12 and 17) and my parents who are in their seventies. The property is very well supplied and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Yosemite Getaway

Great location for visiting Yosemite. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. We were only there for a short time on our visit to Yosemite, but would highly recommend.

The Perfect Spot to Enjoy it ALL!

The whole process in dealing with the Barkers to get the rental set up till the very end was great and absolutely painless. They also left some excellent breakfast treats for us to enjoy during our stay. The house itself had everything we needed and absolutely felt like a second home for us during our vacation. The whole group was sad to leave! -Close in proximity to travel over and visit Yosemite or spend the day close to home at Bass Lake. -Only a couple hours away from Sequoia and Kings Canyon As well. -Several local restaurants and shops within a short drive. I was originally wavering between 2 rentals and chose this one because of the reviews. No regrets. We will be back!

Bass Lake Weekend

Nice place, really close to the lake. We enjoyed the lake house feel & decor. It was in the 100’s the weekend we were there, but the owners provided A/C and plenty of fans to stay cool at night. We recommend this great place to anyone staying in the area.

Great place!!

Super easy to check in! We spent 10 days here and travelled to Yosemite 5 of those days, and spent a day at Bass Lake on a boat. It was clean, the kitchen has basically everything you'd need and then some, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The location was great! We had such a great time here - 10/10!

Lovely home, perfect location!

This was a wonderful vacation for us. Plenty of room for all of our family members, a perfectly stocked house, good air conditioning, excellent location. Only a short drive to either Bass Lake or the town of Oakhurst. I highly recommend this house!

One of my favorite stays!

We absolutely LOVED staying at this vrbo. The owners could not have been friendlier. The cabin was super adorable and very welcoming. One of the best places I’ve stayed so far. Couldn’t recommend more! :)

Wonderful Getaway

I've rented numerous VRBO properties over nearly the last 10 years. This is a top notch property for several reasons. The updates are modern, everything was meticulously clean and well presented. There is an overall ambience that the owners deeply care about this property and maintain it with love. What a wonderful gift to share.

Great stay

This rental really has it all! Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. Kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large family. Great cookware. BBQ was clean and easy to use. Only a mile from the Lake. Enjoyed our stay.

We planned a last minute trip to Yosemite for the holiday weekend. Pickings were slim, so we grabbed what we could. The benefit of a home vs camping in national parks boils down to three points: 1. A good bed 2. Good shower 3. Kitchen amenities. Beds were just ok, showers were barely better than most campgrounds, the kitchen was decent. The knives I went to use were dirty, and painfully dull. The cutting board was warped so barely usable. They did have plenty of spices and basic needs as well as coffee and filters on hand which was nice, but we did not use those. The living/dining space was great, but we did not use them. The bedroom space is odd. It’s basically tri level with a room up top, presumably master on main, and queen on bottom. It’s very squeaky stairs, and not convenient for bathroom visits. Thankfully our kids are older and sound sleepers do this was not an issue. The most painful part though was the price. To pay what I’d pay for 2 hotel rooms a night for a place that had stained carpet, we could barely find at night due to lack of lighting and the very unpleasant showers was ridiculous. We should have camped, or gotten 2 hotel rooms. Whatever. Great trip in park, but def would not recommend this place.

Wonderful and relaxing home away from home!

The Barkers’ cabin was a real joy to stay in. Jen left such nice touches all around the cabin. It felt like coming home! Every comfort you could want was there. I absolutely loved the layout of the home; it made for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to come to the area. It is a short drive from town or to Bass lake and not super far to the Yosemite entrance either. I loved the views and the quiet. We will definitely be coming back!

Staying here was fantastic!

We had everything we needed to make our own meals after going to the store. There were spices, utensils, a bbq, toaster, etc. The cabin felt like home. 😀

Great stay for lake & yosemite

We loved this cabin! Plenty of room for us with a spacious living room & kitchen. We loved being just a few minutes drive from the lake and 30 min from Yosemite! Super clean, great beds, and some toiletries we were able to utilize! Just make sure to plan for no wifi/spotty service.

Cozy cabin with everything you need

We were very happy with our stay. The cabin was very cozy. It is in Oakhurst which is a fairly big town near Yosemite. You can have access to restaurants, grocery shops with 10 mins drive. We would stay here again if we visit this area. Thank you Jen for always replying very fast to all of our questions !!
