Peaceful Place to stay in Berkeley

We recently remodeled the house so everything is fairly new. A guest will have a private room and a private bathroom in the house but it is like a separate unit (like a studio without a kitchen). Guests will have complete privacy while staying here. Some guests like to have Zoom meetings here.
All the furniture and bedding are from Pottery Barn. The bedding sets are washed and sanitized after each guest leaves. Other areas are not shareable. Please understand that we don't wear shoes in the house. Slippers will be provided. Wearing socks is fine. If you want to bring a pet, please let me know. I will try to accommodate your request. But my place is not suitable for big pets.
It is located within 20 minutes of walking distance to UC Berkeley. Bus #36 will take about 5 minutes to DownTown or UC Berkeley. A popular 'Homemade Cafe' is nearby (one-minute walking distance). If you have a car, the street parking is free. This listing is for only one guest.

Nice Host, Clean, Comfortable and Safe.
I went for a 2 night stay in Berkeley while attending a 1 year birthday party for my great niece and visiting with family. The hostess met me at the door even though my arrival time was only approximate. She gave me a tour of the property and showed me around the kitchen and said I could use the kitchen and her condiments and other food. She made me tea and all went fine from then on. I felt safe and slept well both nights.

Perfect for solo visitors.
Nikki is so thoughtful, accommodating and is an amazing hostess. I had yet to stay in a "shared" space but Nikki has done everything to make visiting easy and their house is spacious, clean and quiet. Cozy, quiet, super clean, fast wifi, the backyard with the sliding glass door was really nice, the neighborhood is in a great central location in Berkeley, parking was easy and safe. I would go there again in the future.
