It is a beachfront property. It has been updated since my last visit, years ago. However, the workmanship is lacking. My first call to the front desk was because ants and gnats were in the kitchen and bathroom. Maintenance was sent there and sprayed. Later the same night I saw a mouse and I was livid. I called and reported it to the front desk and told them that was non-negotiable. They moved my room from the second floor to the fifth floor. I didn’t get internet service on the fifth floor, so I watched movies on my phone. I went to the bathroom about 2:30am and saw a huge roach running/crawling down the bathroom door. I was pissed. While packing to leave I noticed a dead bedbug on the spread of the bed I didn’t sleep in. Ofcourse, I reported everything to the hotel front desk. It took 2 days for me to reach the manager. When I asked how I would be compensated, she told me they would only give me a refund for one night. I was there for a union convention. After speaking to a few people, I learned they had similar issues. One lady showed me a picture of sticky pads in her room when she checked in. We are looking into a class action suit against them. That hotel/resort needs to be shut down by the health department.

The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to go off the premises to eat. As the one restaurant that served meals was only open from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. There was no restaurant service, while we stayed, for the afternoons or evenings, we were surprised about that.

The first floor room is a little difficult to get to. But is well worth the journey. It was awesome to walk right off the patio onto the beach .

So perfect, from the cleanliness to the view to the staff. When we got to our jaw dropping oceanfront room, I instructed my guests to perform a scan for problems. The only thing we found wrong was the TV in the sitting room was cracked. We reported it to the front desk promptly. They replaced it promptly. I will return to this amazing, peacefully, comfortable and clean piece of paradise.

Overall this property is nice. We were disappointed not to be given the room we thought we booked. The one slider door was broke to the point it would not open. The windows and doors to the room were so filthy on the outside that the beautiful view we paid for was like looking through filth. Access to the beach is less then to be desired for. You cannot access the beach from the lobby and there are limited signs explaining how to get to the beach. The staff were very polite and welcoming, it’s just not the best place for a beach trip (in our opinion).
