Previously I have stayed in other rooms that have had a little bit of noise but I tell you what, Saturday night just took the cake. My family stayed with me this time so I got a family room. This room (9) was placed right beside the beer garden area. The literal roar of noise from the hundreds of patrons made this room completely unusable to sleep without earplugs. Even with earplugs it was still so loud. We also had cigarette smoke entering the room from around 11pm and the room still stunk like that in the morning. It was the worst nights sleep ever. I would not ever recommend any of the rooms that are outside the internal area unless you like the constant music and crowd roar up until 1am. Although a cheap option, it definitely is not worth it at all due to the ridiculous amount of noise that enters the room. They should not be allowed to even charge for this room.

Lovely old pub , with good pub food , and a decent selection of beers on tap. Central to Orange with a beautiful park right next door. The only negative thing I can say about the place is the televisions in the accommodation have appalling reception.

I enjoyed our stay at this Pub in Orange. The rooms are upstairs and have doors that divide areas for extra security at night. The car park was good but does get locked up overnight so you need to check on times there in case you go out. The location is fantastic. We stayed in Room 1 King Deluxe which was large, updated and very comfortable. The window faces a nice park but did let some traffic noise in as it also overlooked the main street. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - great value and great location.

The room (King with ensuite) was simply furnished, had a comfy bed, view of the park and a modern, well equipped, ensuite. It was nicely cleaned/prepared as well. Location was very very convenient being centrally located. Only gets 3 stars from me because creaky floors, slamming doors and noisy, thoughtless guests/pub patrons reminded me why pub stays are best for youngsters. Do not recommend for older folk but fine for younger partying types.

It was all good until I returned to the building after breakfast to find the key would not open the door. I knocked, banged, rattled the doors and eventually a cleaner let me in and said the key should open the door. If you stay here, make sure to physically check that the key opens the door.

The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable and great showers. Walking distance to shops etc. Staff and service were excellent and the meals were delicious. We always stayed here when we come to Orange. Two negative things the smoke drifts up to the accommodation from the pokies room. Better ventilation is required. Plus on Saturday night the pub/dining after 10pm is way overcrowded and the same with the pokie room. I believe the pokies room should be monitored better.

We enjoyed our stay at this property which is conveniently located in Orange within walking distance to retail stores, cafes & Art Gallery. The room was spacious & the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The Bistro served delicious meals.

Excellent Value - Refurbished Rooms & Lounge Area
Our room was large, full refurbished & so comfortable. The bathroom was all new with lovely fluffy towels. There was a large lounge area that we had access to as well as a balcony if the weather had been a little warmer. We overlooked the back hotel garden which was beautiful. The food at the hotel was also very good and excellent value. The only downside might be the music from the hotel (which was excellent) could be heard until 10ish, not a concern for us, but just in case it's not your thing. Overall, really good value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Also has parking out the back.
