This place was great! Easy parking access, great bar and restaurant, and very friendly staff. Only complaint is we had a room about as close to lobby as we could get, and yet somehow still the WiFi would not work with the television, making it mostly useless. Overall it was great and I would definitely return next time I was in the area.

Nice facility. With the exception of the server in the bar the night we stayed, who went “above and beyond” during our dinner there, the staff was among the least warm and friendly we’ve encountered in our two-week tour in Ireland.

Attractive property, inside and outside. Unique. Inexpensive as we were there on a Sunday night. Able to walk to pubs and restaurants. Only issue was no a/c and the room was a bit warm so we opened the windows, lots of overnight noise from outside with the laundry bins being rolled about, trucks, etc.

We stayed here for 1 night while we were in the Galway area. Beautiful spot, very quiet, a bit dated but the staff were absolutely awesome. We sat outside on their patio and enjoyed a couple of beverages, had a bite and then relaxed for the evening. It was a short 15 min drive to Salthill Beach and the Spanish Arch area and very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

The property was okay and acceptable, but the service was awful. The pillow and blanket were terrible, and I was not satisfied. The breakfast options were limited, and even those were poorly prepared. I found hair in my breakfast, and instead of apologizing, they sarcastically asked if I wanted another one. I've never had such a bad experience.

Nice staff and hotel with comfortable rooms, but the drive way leading to the hotel is terrible. It's basically a one way with no where to turn around. You need to pray you don't hit another car turning into the hotel. We actually saw an accident where one car hit a tree and another hit a fence trying to pass one another on the lead in. It would be comical if it were not so frustrating. The road leading in is small even by Irish standards. Also, it is a bit secluded from restaurants and shops. You have to drive about 20 minutes to get to any social scene. Which is fine until you get hungry or want something to do outside of the room. There is no air condition in the room. It would have been fine if we left the window open, but I didn't want a snake to crawl in from the ivy surrounding the window, only to find out there are no snakes in Ireland. So, open your window and you should be cool enough.
