Frustrated
The home itself and area is nice. My issues are a few days after I left I received an email indicating I was charged $180 for stains on couch etc, then another email saying disregard it was a miscommunication and I would be charged $100 for other things. I questioned that and was sent pictures of dirty linen. I then advised that I had reported dirty bedding, ants, some locks not working etc. There was other little things I could have made an issue out but didn’t because the guest went and bought their own bedding and the other guest switched bedding from unused bunks. I sent them pictures that we had and they requested the time stamp which I re-sent with time stamp and location. In return, I was told that because I didn’t report earlier I would be charged $50 instead of $100. First, when I reported I explained the guest did not arrive as early as I did. Who would think to check other guests beds and pillows for candy, dirt, stains…. And the ants were not visible immediately. I reported the bedding issues hours later and was not told to send pics. Luckily we had pics to cover ourselves. They want to hold me accountable for not reporting within a few hours but are not taking accountability for renting out a property with dirty linen, dirty utensils, toys in the pool, etc. I did not complain as most things would be sanitized and washed. The property was left in pristine condition. I washed towels except day of ones. I am very frustrated and was fraudulently & unlawfully charged
