Right on Gyro beach with a beautiful lake view. Hot tub was bigger than average, hotter than average, which was relaxing (also has a steam room). Spacious parking spots. Staff was super professional and attended to our needs. But the best part of this hotel was that it is very pet friendly. We had the best family vacation with our toy poodle.

The location is super with easy access to downtown. We opted for a street view and would recommend lake view due to street noise. The room was fully equipped and in excellent working condition. We had a problem with our tv and it was addressed by maintenance staff immediately. The bed was very soft for this traveller so would ask for a firm bed next time. Would recommend this resort to others for its amenities, service and view.

We stayed at the Watermark for three nights in early September 2024. My wife and I rented one of the townhouses, number 12 to be exact. These are situated right on the beach and offer two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen and laundry machines. The property is well maintained. We did not use the pool as there were lots of small children, but it looked very clean. There is a Bistro on site, we went for cocktails only, but the food that we saw on the tables looked well prepared. The resort is basically in town, walking distance to restaurants and pubs. There is a Nester's grocery store next to the resort for your shopping needs. The lake is warm! Great for swimming, but bring water shoes, there are lots of stones and rocks on the lake bottom that can hurt your feet. The only real complaint we had was the bed pillows. They are like foam filled. not the most comfortable. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and next time we will bring our own pillows!!

Lovely property & staff were wonderful. Only negative - need some kind of security at pool. One family let in multiple other friends with children & they were loud & took over the pool area. These “friends” parked at Gyro Beach Park & walked over to pool with multiple strollers. Teenagers also tried to sneak in but were turned away.
