I paid up front through Expedia and was charged again at the property. Many attempts to get a refund on the double payment over the course of two months failed (in person, phone and email). Very upset and will not stay here again despite the fantastic location

Business stay , very friendly ans helpful staff. Building although older, very well kept and a great location. Kitchenette was super and clean and had most of the utensils needed to cook your own meals. The only issue was that the housekeeping staff kept forgetting to leave me coffee for my morning coffee. Not a big deal, they always had some at the front desk.

The front desk staff were very friendly Ana helpful. The cleaning staff didn’t seem very interested in cleaning the room after my wife got up around noon. They would give us coffee but had to rest them to vacuum the room and never did replace towels. Not sure why this was an issue as everything was much better the previous week.

Had a kitchenette unit that was very efficient . The rooms are very easy to control the heat and not dry. An older building and could use some upgrades but overall happy with the hotel and will definitely be staying again.

Left thirsty

Requested drinking water, there was no cold water coming from the sink or tub faucet in the room. It was very warm and not drinkable. There was NO bottled water available for purchase and the associate at the service desk was less than hospitable when we called. I have stayed at many best western in my travels, this may be the last time and will be sure to tell everyone I know about the Gatineau location!
