Beautiful and historic. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the café, the children's room (bouncy castles and games), and the pool. The location cannot be beat! Amazing view of Parliament from our room!

Beautiful hotel. Perfect location. Friendly and professional staff. The laundry prices were a bit exorbitant...5 dollars for socks, 12 for each shirt etc. A load of laundry would cost over 100$. There did not appear to be any laundromats nearby. Kind of gouging the tourists who run out of clean clothes. Other than that i loved everything about it.

Doesn’t live up to the rep.

I first checked into a room that was in what I can only describe as catacombs of the hotel with a beautiful view of the hotel’s HVAC systems. After calling the front desk and asking for a room that maybe showed something else because it was my first time here, they put me in a room on the fourth floor overlooking the front door and busy intersection. It was quite loud most of the night. I chalk this up to having not booked directly with them. Hotels tend to treat these kinds of online bookings poorly in my experience. The condition of the shower is terrible. The water trickled out and little rubber parts of the shower head were shedding off while I was using it. There was barely any pressure so I didn’t bother washing my hair. It is an old building that needs a serious update. Next time I think I will stay at the Westin.

My room was not ready when I got there. That’s ok I was told when my room was ready they would text me and my luggage would be in my room. It was not. I had to call down. 20 min later still no luggage I had to go down to the front desk to get it myself. The usb charger in the room did not work. Light over my side of the bed burned out. And I went into the restaurant bar across from front desk. Ordered oysters and they did not have any. So it wasn’t great. I will say the valet was excellent. All the guys who helped with my car. Three times! They were great!
