Didn't feel super welcomed at check-in, but interactions with all staff afterwards made up for it. Great location. Parking is TIGHT! The 6-ft height limit is very real. Oh, and the King-sized bed was amazingly comfortable.

I have stayed at this property in the past and I am a Bonvoy elite member. I found the reception burgers not welcoming and this is not the first time that this is happened to me. I’m a frequent traveler to Ottawa and Marriott is one of the last places I stay at because of both the lack of warmth of the reception folks as well as the rooms that are extremely outdated and look like they are straight out of the 70s. I would definitely recommend considering neighboring hotels if you have the choice and the budget.

Ottawa Marriott - Felt at Home
Great location within walking distance of attractions, restaurants and shopping. Great corner room on high floor with balcony provided fantastic views of the Ottawa River and Gatineau, Quebec in the distance. Very friendly service at check-in and departure. Parking available for a reasonable overnight fee. You must try the weekend brunch at their restaurant. Excellent stay overall. Will return for sure!
