Overall, it’s OK. I like the spacious room. I would’ve given higher stars. But my light broke down, the tub has weird stains, a really dirty teapot. And it’s a lot of weird sounds going on in the room during the night. But the area is quiet though. It’s good for family stay not if you’re trying to get some luxury out of it. I think the overall price is a little bit on the high end for what it provides.

They want you to upload all your personal info online before arrival and told me that it was not possible to do a manual check in at the reception. I did not like this at all and they only offered to refund. They could not transfer me to any manager and had no platform for complaints. So I would not recommend this place to people who are worried about data protection. It was also very loud in the corridors when other rooms were being cleaned (constant noise of doors banging).

Property was modern and suite had everything we needed and we were surprised our studio apartment had a dishwasher. Loved the lounge areas in the building and the gym . We also walked everywhere we went to as restaurants and major tourist attractions were close by. Cleaning provided was daily which was a big plus. Overall a great experience and I will be using sonders in other cities when I travel.

Took us 2.5 hours waiting because my first name was not matched with my ID. Even though I was at the front desk showing my ID, credit card and email confirmation of the booking. Sadly she doesn’t have any power to help because it’s another team behind the computer processing the booking. How funny it is to have the guy behind the computer to go thru the verification instead of the person at the front desk. Luckily we have support from the person at the front desk patiently helping us going thru this hassle. Not recommend to travelers, I would rather to pay more than to go thru my experienced . First time and last time with Sonder.

Very confortable stay in lovely apartment with kitchenette. 2 main issues were firstly a laborious check in/registration process with Sonder (first time user - account set up); secondly parking was a real issue. Either an extortionate fees or juggle street parking and parking meters...

Good area if you’re so poor you need to save $50. For people without money problems in Trudeau’s Canada it’s a good idea to check into a real hotel with people who actually work there. They’ve managed to charge hotel prices while having no one at the actual facility just persons working from home on the phone with their kids yelling in the background while a Sanfransico tech startup app takes your face and personal data to feign security and sell it to God knows who. The rooms are bare minimum (remember with no one on sight less they provide the less problems they have with anything being off) and they aren’t super clean. Numerous hotels nearby with staff that still haven’t hopped on the bandwagon of customer service is completely dead. They should hand employment contracts to the guests since you have to do the work to get in yourself. Humiliation. Tried to save some money but instead have to check in and give my face and data to San Fran startup on the STREETS. Anything to cut costs on human capital: Sonder.
