This is more of a AirBNB. I assumed I had booked a normal hotel, imagine my surprise when I arrived and was locked out because they had emailed me some access code that was required for everything including the door to get into the building. After tailgating someone into the building I was able to finally meet someone. There is no real attendant just some guy behind a podium more than a desk that hand bombed my credit card info into an ipad not convinced this has any sort of security. Room was clean etc. but basic tv is not included you get a smart TV where you need to use a personal account to log into your own Netflix, Prime or YouTube. Honestly, I have travelled all over the world and this was by far the least service I have ever received for a price comparable to everyone else in downtown Ottawa. I won't use any Sonder Hotel chain again

The condo unit was perfect for our stay! Spacious, clean, and nicely furnished! We had such a wonderful time that we are planning to do this monthly - date night! 5 stars!!!!!

Check in and check out were easy as we needed to do the verification process before the stay. However, the sofa bed was terrible as the mattress on top of the spring coils was so thin that one could not sleep on it. We were supplied with 2 comforters to cover it after complaint but it was still not comfortable at all.

Excellent location in DT Ottawa!
The location is excellent! Very walkable. Apartment was nice. Very comfortable bed and large sofa. Only complaint would be the floors were not very clean in the kitchen and bathroom. A lot of hair on the bathroom floor. Toilet seat is loose and shifts every time you use it. I like the amenities closet in the front entrance to get more toilet paper etc if needed.

Great location and good room with self catering facilities but be prepared to do your own cleaning and linen changes. That’s all part of how the hotel chain has decided to keep prices low. Staff are great and getting replacement towels was a simple matter of asking at the front “desk”. But for some who expect daily maid service the do-it-yourself aspect may be a surprise. In room TV includes option for logging into your own Netflix and other accounts which is a really smart feature.

Excellent value. The room was newly renovated and large, with 10 foot ceilings and had every amenity. The wifi was superior (I had to work from there). Excellent restaurants nearby.
