Cute and cozy but noisy

Cute hotel near the main street in Ouray. The room accomodations were nice, I selected this hotel for a solo getaway. Only downside is walls are VERY thin. I could hear both neighbors very well at all hours in and outside their unit. I could hear all activity outside my room, especially snow shoveling at 7:00am. Bed was super comfortable. Will stay here again!

Expedia listed this room as a private bungalow. In fact it is a basement room on the back side of the property, opening onto the alley. The ceilings are 7 ft high. Also the beds definitely need to be replaced. The room was very clean but not as represented.

Lovely and welcoming front desk staff. Quaint place with amazing location. Loved that they had a happy hour with wine and cookies, was an extra special touch. They were kind and accommodating since we were traveling with an infant.

Old School Value

The motel is an old school type place that has plenty of charm. Rooms are very small but bed was very comfortable. The best part of the stay is the very friendly staff and homemade breakfasts. They serve real coffee, no instant coffee machine. The breakfast casserole was fantastic! They also serve homemade chocolate chip cookies and wine in the afternoon. We'll be back!

Spotless, friendly, happy hour with wine and home made chocolate chip cookies. View of mountains. Chairs to enjoy the view. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there many days. City hot springs were excellent. Amazing breakfast - eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and lots of other items. Hot and good. Best breakfast ! Friendly owners.

Would absolutely stay again

Innkeepers are excellent at communicating with you and they provide amazing personalized service. I requested vegetarian food for breakfast and they happily accommodated me.Although the hotel was older the bathroom was updated. Our room was very clean and overall the hotel was very nicely maintained.
