Location was fine. Reception door is always locked even at checkin time at 3:00pm. The Area seemed to be safe so I expect it’s the guests they do not trust. Walls are paper thin and you can hear absolutely everything in neighbors rooms. We could not even phone the front desk to complain because there wasn’t a connection with the room phone. If they had wifi they did not give us the password but I wouldn’t have used an unsecured network at this hotel. Cable did not have HD which normally. wouldn’t have bothered us but it was the World Series. I will not stay here again.

The hotel room was clean and bed was very comforable. The washrooms were newly updated and spotless. Great price for a one night stay. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The only complaints I have are 1. the people in the room next to us were very noisy with loud tv and talking over top of it, until after 1am 2. that you have to pass the smoking table in the parking lot in order to get up to the door to get the building.

The staff member left the property and wasn’t available for 3pm check in but returned quickly after I called. She was very apologetic and friendly - mistakes happen but this was inconvenient for us due to our timelines. Room is very basic but clean. There is no coffee in the rooms FYI. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

TV was old, I guess rooms at upstairs has old fashioned TV that cannot connect to internet. Ground floor rooms has new TV that has youtube, netflix etc. If you upgrade the TV, I would have given 5 stars.

Where I parked had drug smoking packaging in the area. The motel carpets were filthly, and the pool wasn't operational. The staff was friendly and helpful. On our 12,000km trip from NB to AB and return, this was the most expensive motel we stayed in, and also the dirtiest carpets, but I must also say that the bedding was clean.

The room was clean and new. Good location. No elevator to get to the second floor. No ice machine, you have to go the office and she gives you a small bag from her freezer. They have a picnic table and some chairs in the parking lot to sit which was nice.
