Supervisor scams people out of their deposits
The African American woman who claimed to be the supervisor. Literally forced me to pay a deposit of $100 on my room after I'd already stayed there one night on the second night when I wanted to stay another night at your fighting out I had another event I had to attend that required me to stay a second night in town. After I paid for my room through hotels.com she then called my room and told me I have to pay $100 deposit or I have to leave and I was not getting any of my money back for my room. She was very aggressive demanding rude disrespectful. When I refuse and said I've already paid for my room you going to need to give me my money back if you would like for me to leave she then said she to come on down stairs so she could whoop my ass. To diffuse the situation though there really was one I was an aggressive of all I just wanted my money back and told her I needed to speak to the supervisor she then said she was the supervisor. The next morning they claim that I smoked in the room and they were keeping my 100 deposit I am a non-smoker there is no way in hell these women are not conning people that come to the room and stay especially their locals they take their money and then threat to call the police on them when they demand their money back This is definitely a scam they are taking advantage of people she was a large woman and she had I think it was her daughter or some other girl related to her and the staff were scared of her they set back quietly & did nothing 🤔

This property had a lot of items due to renovation. We were actually a little worried when we checked in. But the staff was wonderful. All the areas we needed were pretty good. We did have a TV issue they came up immediately and fixed the problem. We went to the pool they brought us fresh towels. And many items to choose from for breakfast. Thank you to this property. Hope to stay with you again in the spring.

Amazing staff
Staff was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for any better. They are remodeling so it’s a little cluttered but I have no doubt it will be amazing when finished.

I genuinely do not know how this hotel is in operation legally. It was so dirty and felt extremely unsafe. The man working the front desk was very kind but we did not feel safe staying there so we ended up booking another hotel altogether as a last resort because we didnt even feel comfortable sitting on the beds let alone sleeping there. The carpet was soaking wet and it smelt like mold. I would highly advise anyone looking at this hotel to reconsider.

Hotel is in the process of making upgrades, so alot of construction when we visited which didn't bother us, but there were some other cleanliness issues, like stains on towels and bed sheets and dirty carpets

The hotel is currently under construction and it desperately needs it. Upon opening the door, the room smelled weird so we turned on the AC and went to dinner. When we returned, it was better but we were only there for the night.

There is a lot of construction being done on the property. That means less parking spots. Also, my shower door wouldn’t close at all. The ice can in the room was dirty. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice as well.

This hotel was in severe disrepair. There were piles of construction materials in the drive up and lobby, unfinished patches in walls and ceilings, and no baseboards. The room was even more disappointing, there were water stains all over the ceiling, the ac was not on and the room was hot and stuffy on arrival, the mattress was horribly uncomfortable, the bed pillows old and lumpy, the sheets were cheap polyester, the duvet thread bare with holes. The breakfast was disappointing, no fruit, no tea, and the juice and water dispenser did not work. The front desk staff was welcoming and nice though. That’s the silver lining in the whole visit.
