Very old and outdated
This is a very old and outdated hotel. The floors squeaked and the faux wood panels throughout the hallways looked moldy and were falling apart. The beds were very uncomfortable. Would not stay here again.

Whim booking. Whimsical place.
This is an interesting place. I like the nostalgic look and vibe of it. The hallways are full of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and I Love Lucy photos (at least the floor I was on). Place a little “dated” but i think that is part of the charm. I liked it and am glad I booked it on a whim

I was informed at check in that the hotel no longer had a complimentary continental breakfast which has been available for at least 20 years. It has been replaced by a very expensive breakfast option. The hotel should have been very clear at reservation that this has changed and was no longer available. I was very disappointed in my stay.
