Terrible Service/ Decent Property
I brought my family to this house for spring break hoping to get out of the cold wetness of the Portland. However, despite requesting to get the pool heated nearly a week before the arrival date and needing to contact Vacasa again 48 hours before our arrival date to request again and despite paying the pool heating fee in full more than 48 hours before arrival and being promised the pool heat would be turned on later that day, the pool was much too cold to use. We were told it may take up to 72 hours to heat, so we accepted that on our arrival night it might be too cold, but it should be fine the following day. It was not. It was 95 degrees the following day, but the pool was much too cool to use. When I contacted the property manager team at Vacasa which is not what I would prefer to do on vacation, I was told the heat was only turned on the day we arrived, so it would not be at optimal temperature until the day before we left. When I told Vacasa that was unacceptable, I was told via text “I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Is there anything else for today?” I requested a refund. The following day, I was told I would receive a full refund for the heat which I have not received yet. On the day we left, I attempted to use the “heated” pool at the house again which was even colder than two days before. And don’t even get me started on the ant infestation, the janky screen doors, or the broken microwave above the stove and working microwave taking up the entire counter.
