As soon as we got there, after driving 8 hours, we noticed the A/C was not working. It was hot and muggy out and a storm coming in. We contacted maintenance through the numbers listed on the welcome email, text and in the book. And yes, I have screenshots of all the times we called. No one responded. The ceiling fan in the master only goes on low speed too. Horrible! It wasn't till the following day that we reached out via the VRBO messaging that we were acknowledged. After maintenance came, it was confirmed that the entire A/C unit needs to replaced. The maintenance manager, Michael called us and offered to move us but he didn't have any units available, so he said he'd refund us our entire rental, which is the right thing to do. What about bringing us a portable a/c unit too?! But no, we got nothing! We never even received the refund! We are so irate. We were miserable. It was so muggy in there with no air flow. We couldn't sleep with the doors open due to my son's asthma and the first day was a horrible thunderstorm all night. We emailed Donielle, the property manager, when we got home and never got a response. This place needs new management that actually cares and tells the truth. We were so uncomfortable! We even purchased the insurance that you would think covers failure of utilities, but this is through them so, with no response or communication, we didn't know how to use it. Probably staying away from Vrbo's with management companies for now on.
