Friendly greeting in the 11th
We arrived early. The man at the desk couldn’t have been friendlier. We checked into a small room with a large window that opened from the 6th floor overlooking the busy street below. Overall I give this hotel high marks. It has great value for the price & the staff makes you feel special. Also, very good location. Love the 11th.

The receptionist who checked us in was exceptional. So friendly, so knowledgeable and welcoming. The room itself was lovely although outdated. If you looking for a spot to kip for a couple of nights, this does the job.

The staff is very kind and attentive. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is excellent. Rating 4 stars due to the size of the shower that can barely accommodate an average sized adult - I’m 5’6”, 185 lbs, and could not turn around without bumping the knobs and shutting off the shower.

Most people wouldn't apprecite this hotel but I do for a number reasons. Th service is outstanding. While there is no air conditioning (open the windows and smell and feel Parisian air!) and it is small, it has French charm. The nieghborhood is safe and familiar. And while I can stay almsot anywhere in Paris, I keep coming back here.

Booked twin room, got 1 bed
Booked a twin room specifying 2 seperate beds. Upon check-in, we find a double bed. The hotel man on desk told us this was the only room left. He was polite and apologetic but this still leaves the problem. Very poor communication in this regard. This is unfair to hotels that offer a double room for less but were honest enough to list it as a double (not as a twin like this place does). Careless at best, fraudulent at worst. Clenliness of the room was only just acceptable. Bathroom was grungy and had lots of mold in vent. TV was broken. For over £100/night, I would have expected better. At least the location is good.

Home away from home
I love this hotel but it isn't for everyone. There is no air conditioning and it is small. But that's what I like about it. I can open the windows and breathe the Parisian air winter summer or fall whenever I choose to stay there. And the neighborhood supports my interests.
