A good hotel at a minimum should be good in the 3 B’s - good bed, good bathroom, and good breakfast - and Ginnette à la Folie succeeds in all 3. We stayed in a suite with 2 kids so had some extra room for all of us, but for a room with a kitchenette it seemed odd that there was no mini fridge in the room…maybe something for them to consider. But overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff were super helpful - thanks to Elias for making our late evening check-in easy with a couple of sleepy kids in tow. Would definitely stay there again.

The room has down duvets and down mattresses. I have only seen in five-star hotels before. They offer free coffee at the bar 24 hours a day, which is a great plus. Very convenient surrounding with couple good restaurants and bakeries. The staff are super kind and helpful—I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

First of all this is a new hotel it’s only been open a week so it makes sense to leave a positive review for a hotel that exceeded all my expectations. The room I stayed in was small perfect for a solo traveller which I am. The wardrobe took up space so I could not use it really. Spoke to the reception who are aware that perhaps it did not really belong there. They offered free breakfast as an apology which is a lovely gesture. I will happily come back and David at reception and Malek … in fact the entire team were caring and looking to resolve. I would happily stay again. The 6th floor room 602 is perfect minus the wardrobe! Breakfast is great and it is a lovely hotel to stay in. There is a community feeling amongst the staff. Very clean and comfortable and safe and welcoming! All that you need and a friendly team. Well done !!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, net nieuw geopend hotel. Keurige kamer, voor met z'n drietjes wat krap, maar genoeg voor wat je nodig hebt. Locatie erg goed!

Localisation proche de restaurants et commerce. Accueil tres chaleureux aux accents siciliens...chambre avec tout le confort, une excellente literie, des peignoirs. 2 petits points negatifs. Insonorisation inexistante avec la chambre d à côté ce qui occasionne nuisances sonores des que quelqu un parle et sauna spa non accessoble en libre service. Il faut le reserver avant son arrivée, ce qui n est pas mentionné sur le site. Autrement tout etait parfait merci pour le pdj offert suite aux désagréments cités plus haut. Je reviendrai...

Essence of Paris wrapped up in a wonderful hotel
It was a fantastic stay. Such a nice staff. The cosiest rooms and the perfect Spa area for us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. We all still miss the beds there after returning home. If 6 stars was possible I would give this to the staff

We had a very nice stay. The interior of the hotel was charming, the room was nice and clean (newly decorated), and the staff were very friendly and hospitable.We had a little noise from the other rooms, though (thin walls), but the street was nice and quiet.

Une magnifique surprise : ma chambre était encore plus belle et plus grande que ce à quoi je m'attendais ! Une belle et grande douche aussi ! Un tout petit point négatif (mais qui n'a pas eu d'impact sur la qualité de mon séjour) : manque un miroir adéquat pour se maquiller quand on est myope (idéalement un miroir grossissant)... Hâte d'y retourner !
