We enjoyed our stay at the Ibis Montparnasse. There was a nice bar in the hotel but there were not many food options in the evenings. There were several places to grab a bite within a short walking distance. The room was clean and there was a nice amount of space in the room.

Excellent hotel. Close to Montparnasse train station which we needed. The metro is also there so it is easy to access anywhere in the city. Excellent restaurant recommendations as well.

Balcony was nice. clean rooms and bathrooms. Hotel staff was super nice and helpful at all times. Metro within a walking distance (5 minutes). There was a nearby street (5-10 minutes walk)full of restaurants that were open late.

Overall a good experience
Overall it was a good hotel, the location was good and near to bus stop and 5 mins to train stations. The hotel staff were also nice and helpful specifically the staff on the reception either it’s day or night. The rooms were very small for the price which we paid and the breakfast was very basic.

Extremely budget hotel - more 2* rather than 3*
The hotel lacks basic facilities in the room, for example no kettle or iron, no water bottles/ disposable slippers available. However, water was available in the foyer area downstairs. The twin room was very small and the single beds were extremely small and suitable for a small child. I am a petite female and I rolled off the bed twice. Cleanliness was average, there was dust flying around which triggered my allergies. The pillows, duvet and towels were very thin and worn.

If it had been €80 cheaper per night it would have been ok I guess, but at €210 per night it was way overpriced. The basics were there but the beds were cheap and ultra narrow, there was no luggage rack, no security measures to keep your door closed when you are sleeping (a chain for example), there were no towel racks (just two hooks on the wall), there were only two tinny paper cups and no real cups, the shower doors were full of gaps guaranteeing a major flooding in the bathroom when you showered, the plugs in the room did not leave space for your charger, the floor was covered with black carpet and black plastic in the bathroom, so you couldn't tell if it's clean. There were other minor derails but it felt everything was designed to check a box on a checklist rather than being convenient.
