Staff was friendly. The hotel badly needs a major cosmetic update. The charming old windows block very little outside sound. Lots of noise from the bar across the street until early morning. Lots of noise from the room above. Footsteps, furniture moving, etc.

The room was looks so old and the rest room as well. We couldn't stay in the hotel. The lift is so tiny and the reception area needs improvement.

The location was great. Restaurants, supermarkets, metro stations all within a few minutes walk. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. My only small concerns were that as my room was on the first floor facing the street, it wasn't quiet in the evening, and that would put people off. Secondly there was a slight dripping from the bottom of the sink into the bin, so that needs to be fixed. Neither were deal breakers for me. I would still book this hotel if and when i return to paris

Good location; bad BF!
Breakfast was horrible! Only bunch of bread for BF. Orange juice, milk, n coffee. Low budget of BF. Dont do BF at all if you do BF like that. The elevator was so small. Only 2 person can fit. If you have luggages; then you have to take several trips to get to your room. The elevator only works for lobby, 4th n 5th floor. Molds all over room 430 with private bathroom. Great location for hotspots of Paris. Restaurants at your walking distance.

Okay for short stay. Helpful staff from the counter. Only disadvantages- noisy surroundings and the lift is very tight, can only accommodate 1 person at a time.

Great location, mediocre hotel
The hotel is in the middle of changing the stairs carpets and painting, so it's pretty messy. The towels in the room were very humid, not fully dried. The room was comfortable. The elevator must have the record for smallest elevator in the world, it's like a small closet, only for 1 person with luggage and even then very tight. Breakfast was decent. The location is excellent, but even then, I think it's expensive for what is is/offers

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The building is a bit old but we’ll kept a d clean. Only a few minute walk to metro station. Kind staff members. I will stay there again if I ever return to Paris

Location was close to metro in a great location. The staff was friendly. Wifi was awful! No lift for people, just luggage. They're in the process of remodeling, had noise from contruction in the day. It's a place to lay your head.

Absolute disaster
This hotel was a DISASTER! More fool me for booking the cheapest last minute accommodation - my wife who was supposed to accompany me for the trip had to cancel so I cancelled our nice hotel and found this one nearby beside our friends who we were travelling to the rugby World Cup with. I didn’t think it could be *that* bad, as I was planning to only sleep there, so it just needed to be clean - unfortunately the hotel themselves and also hotels.com failed to tell me there is BUILDING WORK going on in the hotel. Nor did the staff member at reception who checked me in. So getting to bed at 5am and being woken by loud relentless building work the next morning was the result! When I called the hotel from bed (from my mobile - because they don’t have phones in the rooms) the member of staff blithely told me that work was ongoing so it would be the same the next morning too. I checked out of the hotel, requested a refund, and was told I would have to email but that a refund wouldn’t be possible. I’ve sent two emails and called and still nothing. So if hotels.com would like to intervene given it was booked through you that would be welcome!

The rooms looked to be fairly recently updated, but the hallways were so narrow, there were no smoke detectors, and smoking was allowed. We didn't feel safe in the rare case of an emergency. In addition, the noise from the street below was so loud, we had a terrible time sleeping. We were unable to get refunded for our second night there and chose to forfeit our money to stay at a different hotel the following night.

The property is filthy and management posted pictures in Orbitz that do not represent the actual physical condition of the property. There was not Wi-Fi, no hot water in the bathroom, room was very small and filthy, the room door did not close properly, the hallway carpet were filthy, walls had stains, the keys had to be retorn in the front desk every time I leave the property, in general the apparent hotel is a total disaster. Please , please do not book any reservation with this hotel. It is a fake and Orbitz must be more diligent when including hotels in their list of options. They charged me the whole amount for three night 491 euros before seeing the room. When I saw the room I told the front desk I was leaving that she could stayed with one night and reimburse me the rest. She denied my claim and clearly stated that the reservation was not refundable. The worst experience ever in Paris.

No hot water. Although I stayed in June, I couldn't have a shower in the evening/nighttime. The shower glass panels were missing. It was a kind of open space. The room key was broken. One of pillow case was brown... I didn't want to touch it. I stayed in an attic room and it was very spacious. That was the only good thing in this hotel.
