We liked the house very much.. It is an authentic old adobe house with a charming atmosphere and old furnishings that add to its appeal to the past. All the amenities that are needed for comfort are there. No complaints about the interior of the house. The property is totally enclosed by fencing, wall and vegetation, so it is completely private. Only complaint is the condition of the exterior landscaping. Plants are dying for lack of care, especially need for more water, including the plants outside the front wall. Seedlings from a nearby silk tree (a very invasive tree) are sprouting up everywhere between the old Mexican pavers , up against the house and in planting areas. They will take over and the more they grow, the more difficult they will be to remove. The leaves that fell from trees last fall, are still piled up under bushes and trees. The bamboo that screens the property on one side is dying from lack of water. I watered what I could reach with the one hose in the front of the house. I am a "gardener" and also a rental property owner in Tucson, so am perhaps more aware than some folks of the importance of maintaining grounds. I'm not sure if the property owner is aware that the outside area needs immediate care, especially with summer coming. We really loved the place. The condition of the grounds was only thing that spoiled our visit.
