We have owned and managed gulf front property in Destin for over 20 years. We have enjoyed sharing our properties with our guests. Our guests have made priceless memories with their families and friends over the years, which they have shared many of those memories with us. We have recently relocated to the Pensacola area and were ready to invest in property on Pensacola Beach. We chose Portofino Island Resort due to the location, beautiful condos and the full suite of amenities offered.

We purchased this Sky Home in October 2019. The view upon opening the front door is why our condo is called a Sky Home. From the 18th floor, you will see unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico! This is the "first impression" that won us over on our purchase.

Portofino consists of 28 acres located on a pristine stretch of nature preserved land bordering both the Gulf of Mexico and the tranquil waters of the Santa Rosa Sound. In addition, enjoy direct access to several miles of federally protected sugar white sand beaches, complete with the renowned emerald green and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. On a daily basis our guests can enjoy the Gulf beach, Santa Rosa sound, and federally protected Gulf Island National Seashore Park ALL within walking distance!

The condo includes an open floor plan featuring spectacular Gulf views, allowing breathtaking views from every room! Beautifully furnished 1,333 square foot Sky Home with a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in guest bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. TVs and DVD players in each bedroom as well as in living area. The condo has all the luxuries of home. In addition, there are 2 RESERVED PARKING SPACES in the covered garage for our guests. Additional parking outside at the ground level is available.

Last but not least are ALL the amenities offered by Portofino Island Resort. Below is a list of what is offered:
-Each tower has a large outdoor pool with hot tub, umbrella tables, chairs and sunbathing lounges, in addition to restrooms,
-5 Rubico (clay) tennis courts,

-2 Outdoor infinity pools with hot tubs outside the Lifestyle center where you can sit poolside and enjoy food and drink service right at your lounge chair,

-Coastal restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and fine dinner dining in Lifestyle center,

Perfection!
What a wonderful place to visit! We celebrated my husband's 40th. For February we were surprised with some warmer weather. Plenty of pools and hot tubs to choose from, everyone was very friendly. The restaurant onsite had fantastic food and drinks, and the Happy Hour specials we ate and filled up on easily. The sunsets, beach, and water were from a postcard. The condo was clean, quiet, well stocked. Karon went above and beyond, and we really appreciate her.

This unit does not disappoint. Everything one could need is provided from the kitchen to the restrooms. The view is perfection. You are oceanfront but can also see the bay. The resort itself has everything one could want from restaurants to pools, activities, a spa. We love it here and our host was fantastic to work with.

Fantastic Condo
We love spending time at the Portofino, and this was probably the best. The condo is beautiful, great location on the property, gorgeous views, and very well stocked. The grill was such a bonus. It served our family of 4 very well. Karon the manager was so kind and responsive. We hope to come back to the same condo next summer.

Amazing Spring Break
My family visited in early March for our Spring Break! The weather was a tad chilly the first day but the heated pools and hot tubs made up for it and gave us an excuse to check out all the amenities Portofino had to offer! The blow up adventure area was perfect for our kids (13 year old and 7 year old)! My son even found a hermit crab, highlight of his trip! We went to the Boardwalk almost every night for dinner! It was easy to door dash food in as well (we are the type that do not cook on vacay). The condo was beautiful, especially the master bathroom! The views were 5 stars! I was nervous being so high up with a 7 year old but after a few days I felt more comfortable with him being on the balcony! We would 100 percent come back! The 13 hour drive was worth it!

Karon was so nice and helpful
It was really cool being able to see the Gulf and the bay from the balcony. The tv was hard to figure out but we were pretty busy getting things ready for Momma's 93rd b'day. Beds were very comfortable. Pillows were very thick and kinda hard but I loved them.... hubby didn't. Jacuzzi tub was very nice! Kitchen had everything. Thanks Karon.
