Leaves a bit to be desired
The views are truly incredible, and it’s nice that this is not in fact in Varenna, but a steep drive up in the village of Perledo. A car is needed. There are no good restaurants close by, and there is a basic grocery store walking distance. Not that difficult to manage to be honest. The wifi is like third world - basically unusable. The facilities are fairly basic. I’d give the place 5 stars if if it cost half the price. But at this price, it is a very expensive for what you get.

Lake como getaway
Charming villa away from the hustle that pays off with a gorgeous view. Able to explore the hillside village which we would have never known about. Loved our short stay.

Très agréable séjour à Perledo
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la magnifique vue depuis la maison sur le lac de Côme. L'emplacement proche de Varenna était très pratique pour utiliser le service de ferries. Un restaurant/bar est situé à proximité immédiate de la maison, une petite épicerie plus que correcte à 5 minutes à pied. Plusieurs randonnées sont possibles en partant de Perledo. Nous avions une voiture (indispensable ou non ? nous n'avons pas expérimenté le service de bus). Les seuls petits points négatifs: - le Wifi rivalise de médiocrité avec la couverture réseau mobile (aucun n'est utilisable) - stationnement un peu compliqué en haute saison
