It's a nice place to stay. there are some inconveniences with parking and minor problems with rooms due to age of everything.

Their gym was closed, under renovation. This was one of the reasons I had chosen the hotel. The next door club was noisy with patrons exiting loudly at 02h. Although the staff was supportive, it did not make up for the inconveniences.

Cold but clean
We could not control the temperature of the room and it was cold. There were only thin sheets and no comforters. Service (front desk) was responsive and directed us to use the 'fireplace' but it didn't work for us. The place feels old and tired. The paint on the bathroom walls is all chipped and peeling, and the hallways were frigid and dark.

I think at one time this was a gorgeous place back in the 70s maybe but they need to update. Months later and my back still hurts from the springs. At least I didn't get bedbugs. YUCK

Our room was great.
Our room was spacious! We enjoyed our room greatly for the weekend we had and were well rested for the days' events. Unfortunately, outside of our room, there was a huge water issue in the hallway (probably from the floor above) that made for some unpleasant smells in the mornings due to wet carpets. But the service was great and hugely accommodating. We had several issues with our room keys being demagnetized, but staff was always apologetic and willing to help restore the issue.

Door lock system in desparate need of updating - key cards needed to be re- magnetized constantly (front desk staff excellent to fix when required, however). Paid for 3 people but only provided towels for 2. Hotel provided hand soap was not very high quality. Parking is about a block away & unloading zone is on a busy street. Beds were comfortable enough. Pillows could be replaced.

The overall stay was ok. Check in was overwhelming as the employee accused my group of not having enough funds as the machine was having issues and not processing the card. Eventually after four tries it processed after the employee announced to the entire lobby they believed we didn’t have funds and couldn’t check us on, which in turn was the machine at the front desk. We had to go out at 9 pm as the “drinking tap” had black mould within. Additional items were found within the room which in turn led to a full refund. During checkout, Hasham (I am so sorry if i spelt this wrong) was the most pleasant part of the trip. He took our concerns into consideration with such care and had a resolution for us within an hour of bringing the issue to his attention. We didn’t expect the resolution he brought to us but thank him for dealing with the health and safety of the guests with the upmost care. This doesn’t go unrecognized
