The location to surrounding amenities and shuttle to casino was awesome. Since we went in January, the parking lot was a mess, and it was hard to keep your shoes, pants dry if going out. The staff was super friendly (although they seemed understaffed). My only complaint was no hot water in the morning to shower. We even waited a bit to see if it got a chance to heat up after the morning rush. No luck. Cold showers were horrid. Also, the doors are very loud - heard banging all morning as people were leaving.

Diminishing stature

We have stayed here six ski seasons in a row, the price makes it a great deal, the bathroom needs a deep cleaning, grungy corners. The former tastybreakfast buffet is now a continental breakfast only. It used to be a nice way to start the day. The staff was very friendly and professional.

My only problem was it snowed overnight. The front side walk and the parking lot had not been cleaned or salted by 9 a.m.

A gem in Petoskey

"This charming hotel exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the beautiful wood accents and cozy lodge atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a mountain retreat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable and inviting, with cozy double beds that provided a restful sleep. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained, clean, and a welcome amenity. My only minor quibble was with the breakfast. While they advertised breakfast, the selection was limited to cold cereal and muffins. However, this is a minor issue considering the overall positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's a fantastic option for anyone visiting the Petoskey area, offering a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

This hotel was excellent. My boyfriend and I stayed here to go skiing in Boyne and loved this hotel. We, were not planning on going to the casino, but they give each guest $15 casino credit for every night you stay. We got super lucky and cashed out on the slots and won a lot in roulette when there. You also can free pop and coffee at the casino at these stations. Room 94 restaurant in the casino was absolutely amazing. The fried mozzarella was a great appetizer we got it 2 nights in row. Just don’t get the coleslaw it was rough. Good prices too!

The coffe machine was filthy. I attempted to clean it but it was really to awful. Candy was on the floor from previous and the water in the bath tub kept dripping all night. The staff at the desk were friendly and there was a lady that apologized for the coffee pot. The room was a disappointment and to be honest we probably wont stay there again unless its an emergency.
