We only spent one day here on our stop to see Philadelphia, and we were sad we couldn’t stay longer. This property had the easiest check in process from any place I’ve stay at.
Driving to the property, we weren’t too sure about the neighborhood, but looks can be deceiving. The area is safe, and the only issue we had was with the railroad tracks behind the house, but only those sleeping in the room facing it heard anything.
The set up inside the house is perfect for a large family, especially those who have kids (we didn’t have any children, but we saw ends of tables were child-proof and there were baby feeding seats). The kitchen was my favorite part of the house, and was just beautiful and well-made. Every part of the house has an external AC unit attached, which took us a minute to realize that’s what we use to cool down whatever room we’re in. House was very clean.
The TV didn’t seem to have cable, but it was a smart TV, so you can log in to your own streaming service app or watch something on the free ones. There was even a monitor with an HDMI cable if you have a laptop and wanted to stream from there. The basement had a nice entertainment area set up that we unfortunately didn’t get the opportunity to use.
I think the only downside I can think of is that there’s no bathroom on the main floor. You’d have to go upstairs or downstairs. This probably won’t be too much of an issue for most people unless they’re elderly or have mobility issues.
