Overall really bad. I checked in. First the main elevator was not working so i had to use the staff elevator. That’s fine.. no big deal. But i get up to the room, and there is no bathroom door and the bathtub/shower does not drain, the room smells really bad and the air conditioner is really loud. I asked for a new room, and they give me one. When I get into the new room, the bed was not made and it looked like someone had slept in it and it was not cleaned. So I ask for a new room. Finally get into the 3rd room, and it’s not so bad, still smells, but whatever I can deal with that.. go to take a shower and the water does not get hot.. stays at most slightly warm.. after a long day traveling. That’s just the worst feeling. At this point I am too tired to ask for a new room. overall just a really bad hotel. Not clean, smells and just not a nice environment. Bad experience.. I never do reviews… but I really had to make this review to indicate how bad this hotel.

Rooms were clean, buttons on elevators would go in and out. Pool is closed indefinitely! have to pay a fee for wifi even if you use the “free” wifi. staff was welcoming though just the ownership is very poor

This is a great location that’s convenient to museums and the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall and the hop on hop off bus pickup locations. The staff is professional and courteous. We will be back!

Disappointing stay with this well known brand. Elevators smelt of urine, room smelt of weed. Location is very good. Manager was sympathetic with our complaints and handled the matter to our satisfaction in the end. Unfortunately I would not stay here again

I checked my girlfriend and my mother into the hotel, and the woman at the front desk was clearly on some kind of narcotic; I've never seen someone be so violent with a computer keyboard or speak so quickly. She was rude and condescending to both my mother and girlfriend. My mother's hotel room had a couch in it that was very obviously covered in semen stains that hadn't been cleaned; we're talking "still crusted on". We had her moved to another room, and it was even worse; there were semen stains on the couch in the new room, the curtains, and a very obvious imprint on the window from where someone was pressed up against it, no doubt in some kind of intimate position. My girlfriend and I shared a room separate from my mother, and I had to personally repair the toilet and the sink drainage. I suppose I should be grateful I didn't have semen stains in our room... that we could see.

No internet no breakfast unless you pay extra.

For the amount you pay per night they should at least offer free internet. It is reminiscent of that show Green Acres when Mr. Haney sells Oliver Douglass a tractor then says, "Now that you have the tractor how about buying the tires that go with it?". Internet is now something you need in every day life so to have to pay extra for it during a hotel stay I find to be intolerable.

The property was not up to the standard that I’d expect. The room was large, but some of the wood panelling was missing in the room. Additionally, the air conditioning was incredibly loud. A minor point was the layout as you enter the hotel, everyone seemed to have the same issue of not really knowing where to check-in. A big disappointment was the permanent swimming pool closure. No one warned me of that and it was one of the reasons for booking.
