I was most excited for the “heated pool”, unfortunately it was not heated, which is misleading because it clearly states that the pool is heated. I spoke with Andrew at the front desk and he got extremely defensive stating “ it is heated” after telling him I was just on the pool he then stated “like I said it is, but if you don’t think so then I guess I’ll call someone”. Our sink on the bathroom leaked all over the counter and floor whenever we turned on the faucet, maintenance was very nice and fast, but informed us that “this is not a quick fix and asked if we can just manage one more night”. I was pretty upset with this experience especially after my brother spoke so highly of it.

The hotel was dated. Our room was dirty. Dust everywhere, rugs dirty and a toothbrush and hat left from previous guest. Pool was run down and didn’t seem clean.

Two Night Stay
Light bulb burned out in one of the lamps. The light in the shower was burned out. The shower head was constantly dripping. Aside from signs of wear and tear on some of the furniture, the room and bathroom were very clean and the air conditioning worked just fine. Had a great dinner one night in the hotel restaurant (Ruth's Chris). Hotel staff very polite and efficient.

The Sonesta was the perfect location to enjoy the museums on the parkway, dining in Rittenhouse square and shopping. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel restaurant/bar offers light options, but there are plenty of options nearby.

Staff was far from friendly and lazy!! Had too bring own luggage cart upstairs even after giving bell man a good tip for holding out luggage since we were early for check in time and staff at desk were nasty as well!!room was garbage and filthy and left opened drinks from past visit of other patrons and no soap or conditioner in bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend this place!! We usually stay at Sofitel and figured to try a new spot and it was a horrible experience
