The property and our room (we stayed in the Fire Pit Pool View room) were beautiful. However, we arrived a day later than planned due to a flight delay. I tried contacting the hotel over 10 times to inform them, but no one answered the phone. When we finally arrived, our room had a bad smell, and the patio was quite dirty, so I had to request a more thorough cleaning. We stayed for 4 nights, and on one day, even though we left the room at 9 AM and returned at 10 PM, the room wasn't cleaned, and our towels weren't changed. That was frustrating. The pool was great, and the bar/restaurant was lovely, but it was disappointing that on a sunny weekend day, the bar didn’t open until noon.

Stayed here with a friend. Front desk staff was amazing and personable. Only feedback I have is that the pool and restaurant were closed two out of three days I was there due to private events, and the one day I went to the pool I was bitten up all over my body by bugs. The server was able to give us bug spray, but it was too late.

My stay at the Rise Uptown was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I was even given a free upgrade to the largest room, a bottle of wine, plus homemade infused popsicles during my stay—which were so good! My room smelled fresh, was spotless, and had such a cozy vibe. There also is an AppleTV, which is a plus! The hotel itself is in a perfect location, with a beautiful pool area and a fun atmosphere. It’s also surrounded by other hotels and offers a complimentary drink during happy hour. Plus, it’s just 15 minutes from downtown and only five minutes from plenty of restaurants, shops, and more. Overall, a 10/10 experience—I can’t wait to come back!

Overpriced with Minimal Service

Totally overpriced for what is provided. It's a gussied up motel with concrete floors and no amenities. This is the only place I've stayed in (worldwide) for the last 5 years that does not have coffee in the room. One must get dressed and walk a block away. When questioned, I was told that a coffee maker didn't meet their asthetic (that is, used 1950's decor). There is also no way to contact the office-no phone in the room-other then, again, getting dressed and going down. My last night of a 4 night stay, the water was barely warm enough for the shower. Housekeeping is minimal with the thinnest towels I've come across. I guess a couple of free popsicles is supposed to overshadow the deficiencies.

We were so impressed by this hotel! It’s an old motel renovated into a super trendy and fun place to stay. The pool was warm, plenty of places to relax, and poolside service was amazing. The rooms are clean, modern, and updated. Everything was exceptional from check in to check out.

Hotel was good, some minor things for the most part it was good. The street that the hotel is on reminds me of Los Angeles and though specifically where the hotel is located seemed to be better I could help but worry about my car window being smashed by some transient on drugs to take my bags out, those kinda vibes but the vibes the hotel gave were very cool just it’s location sucks I guess, but that’s Phoenix area for ya.
