It is an ok property. The staff are very nice and kind. No elevators. Use to be an apartment building now a hotel. Pool is open late. Very safe.

When we made our reservations (a month in advance), we noted that we were celebrating a 60th birthday and our honeymoon. The ‘property’ responded and said there would be a welcome amenity in our room upon arrival. When we checked in, the Front Desk Staff congratulated us on our wedding and wished us a happy birthday. So we know it was “in the system.” There was no welcome amenity in our room. There was, however, a cockroach crawling up the wall, in our closet. When we went back down to the Front Desk to ask about the amenity and let them know about the cockroach, the gentleman said he had no knowledge of the amenity. We shared the screenshot of the messages between us and the ‘property.’ He said he’d let the Manager know and offered to have Maintenance go to our room regarding the cockroach. We let him know we killed the bug and it was wrapped in a tissue in the wastebasket. No one contacted us. No amenity. So, we went back to the texting messages with the ‘property’ and they said they would take care of it. It took 24hrs and we did receive a bottle of wine & 2 Hershey bars. The facility itself was conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town. The pool and hot tub were clean and functioning. The pool chairs all had tears along the seams. Some ripped completely, so seating was a challenge during popular times. The stairwell for our building (#7) had collapsed at some point and was precariously slanted/sloped. Going up was fine, but coming down was tricky.

This was our third time staying in Hyatt house Scottsdale.We return because we know the layout routine.Enjoyed all amenities. Only one negative the Partying (pot Smoking) & Loud traffic so close on Week-end.Guests had no Respect for Neighbors.

Unfortunately the AC was not working in our room. We set it for 70 then came back in the middle of the night to find it was 85 degrees, I did not sleep that night it was terrible and there wasn’t anything I could do since it was the middle of the night.

Super location, staff and big rooms!
Nancy at the front desk is a rock star! She was super nice, quick and running everything herself including the attached bar which we came to later that night. They have a few tvs and lots of places to sit, outside with nice furniture and greenery too. The rooms are so big, they must be former apts. Sitting area and small kitchen with fridge. Bed was very comfortable and it was quite. We chose Hyatt House b/c of the location. Easy to walk to so many restaurants, shops, bars, and any events. Breakfast the next morning was good & included. The man running that was so fun and nice, and kept everything stocked. Eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, juice, tots. Everyone loved the biscuits and gravy.

For a hotel like this they had nice soft towels and the beds sheets where soft and nice to sleep in. The pillows compared to other places I stayed at are actually really nice. It was a great experience

First you need to call to get service and to get shower towels you need to chase the cleaning crew and to get toilet paper you need to do the same

This was a good property in a great location. The staff are absolutely amazing! Really really good. The only issues I really had was the toilet flush was broken and the air conditioning grate kept falling off the wall in the living space. Another issue I had was housekeeping doesn’t come every day and when they come they don’t actually clean, just give clean towels and that’s it so that was a bit of a surprise to be honest. Overall it was great and I’d stay there again
