We got a room with access to the pool which was worth every penny. The pool is very nice, clean and modern. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach but there is a shuttle available in the mornings to both Kata and Karon beach. Supermarkers and restaurants/bars are all in a walka le distance

The dark wooden floor in the shower room. You could not see whether it was clean or not. One key card per room. The air conditioner would turn off when we left the room and we would come back to a hot room .

This hotel was under par. Our room was a swim up to the pool which was awesome but that's it. The beds...omg, the beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. I can't ...it was like sleeping on the floor. What's the point! The pool however was great. The staff was ok. I asked for ice...don't have, I asked for fries( we were stuck in doors because of hard rain) Don't have, extra mattress topper because the bed sucked...don't have. Taxi? to get to the main area...don't have...So I blew up! Your a hotel and you don't have taxis?? All of a sudden they had someones number and 15 min later a taxi showed up. This hotel looks great in the pictures but its all just a coat of paint. You can tell they tried to make it look new and modern but it's sloppy. The shower boards on the floor actually hurt my feet. Like wth? Arghh.. don't waste your money. This room cost me $140 cnd a night. I stayed in the most insanely beautiful perfect hotel of my life just up a hill in Patong...called Mai House. That one cost me $114 a night and it was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Just stunning. Go there. Not here.

This hotel was priced reasonably at $112, but could improve its level of service with some improved offerings. There wasn't any mini bar, and purchases from the reception had to be made in cash, no bookings to the room.

We stayed here for 6 nights when travelling in Phuket. The room: we got a pool access room which was very convenient Had a nice and clean sit-out area for soaking up the sun. Bed was nice and big enough for me, husband and our 3.5 year old who wanted to sleep with us The children's cot was clean and basic and did the job well. The pool: Nice and clean it has enough pool chairs to lounge around the pool The general ambience: the whole place is small enough, but very nice and neat it is close to a main road, so you can hear the vehicles if sitting outside However, the windows/doors to the room are sound proof and the noise didn't get in. Breakfast buffet: Average Access to beach and other places: Karon and Kata beach are about 10 min away by Tuk/Tuk taco ( 200 baht) - there is also a hotel shuttle that takes you down to the beach in the morning. There are some fruit markets and road side cooking stalls for dinner and such. Seven eleven and pharmacy is close by Close-ish ( 30 mins) to Chalong temples, Big Budda etc Overall, its a nice place and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Decent hotel with great beach and food around
A clean and decent hotel for a few nights stay. Great price near some temples, markets, and sights to see in the south area of Phuket. Beautiful beaches are a moderate walk away with some great food choices nearby. "Hero Bar" which is a few blocks away has some incredible food!

Lovely friendly staff with clean spacious rooms. Pool just off my balcony Close to good cheep food and supermarket Beach about 20 minutes walk away. Thought this hotel was excellent value so have booked again for two weeks next month

Fairly new hotel which is well maintained.
Discovered on the Internet and the reviews were excellent which is not always the case. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained and a credit to the management and staff. My one reservations is the cost of breakfast - 400 bahts is a wee bit steep. The pool is clean but the sun beds need mattresses. I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Quiet Hotel
We hardly got time to spend in the hotel room due to our hectic schedule. But the hotel was quiet and the silence can be felt in the evenings. My room was on ground floor with access to pool and my wife used to fear of intrusion. They don't have bell boys. poor receptionist had to carry my heavy luggage to room and to taxi. Morning breakfast is very limited, but tasty and well cooked. It is a little far from beach, but while walking down to Kata beach you may end up landing in Heroes Bar which is a superb place to eat and hangout and some live music. Also connected to a local shops with variety of items to offer. Overall, it was a good experience if not great.

Very Pleasant Hotel
Nice, modern and comfortable hotel. Staff speak little English but are friendly and warm. Room is spacious, clean and modern. Loved the Melody branded umbrellas that you can use. Hotel is on the main road, so it takes about 12 minutes to walk to Kata beach; 20 to Karon beach. But it's a pleasant walk with many shops and restaurants along the way. Great little Thai restaurant next to the hotel called Mama Daengs. Serves meals for 50 Bhat - way cheaper and more filling than a lot of the tourist traps near the beach.

Great hotel for the price
Brand new rooms that were very clean. The staff was extremely sweet. It's a 15 min walk to the beach and a simple hotel but it's a good choice if you want good, clean spacious rooms at a very reasonable rate.

Great stay, family enjoyed.
Great stay here. Positioned 15 minute walk to Kata and Karon beaches. On busy main road but short walking distance to restaurants or you can catch a Tuk Tuk to any area within Karon beach for 200 baht. Best beach is Kata Noi. Rooms are very comfortabe. Balconies are a bit small. Pool is nice and very quiet. Don't think it is worth the extra for pool access room as everyone can see directly in to your room and seems little privacy. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels. Unlimited beach towels although they are a bit small. Breakfast is poor. Eggs cold, and very limited choice. Would definetly stay again as great value for money and everywhere is so accessible. Beware on checkout though as another review said about towels, we were questioned about a missing teaspoon!

Overall a pleasant stay. Staffs were very helpful. Located at the Main Street, a bit far from the beach and eateries. We rented a scooter, so location was just nice.

The Melody a great place to stay.
We stayed at the Melody for 5 nights. We paid extra for the pool room as it were great when we got back to our room to be able to dip straight into the pool. The balcony were big enough but would be better if they were sunbeds instead of chairs. Also if there were somewhere to hang your wet clothes & towels.The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good. About 10/15 minutes to the beach and the centre for bars and shops. I would definately recommend staying here.
