The room was clean, the staff was very nice. The Grand Smokies has been there in Pigeon Forge for many years. The facility is showing it age. There was construction on the property but no work was happening during our stay, just the inconvenience of parking available. Overall was good.

The tv or wires In our room We’re all messed up, we got 5 channels, and the tv kept cutting out, Skipping, freeZing we could not utilize the tv at all. We were not warned about construction BEFORE BOOKING only After booking and paying were we warned, and we were place in the very back by all the construction so all we could hear were machines being slammed And operated down below. There was also no mention of non smoking rooms, or at least being able to smoke on the balcony until after purchasing. We don’t agree with smoking in rooms, but smoking on the balcony? (Again understanding that’s company policy) but when I’m paying $100 a night these are all things that should be mentioned PRIOR to booking the room not after it’s booked and paid for. Do not recommend. Also some of the front desk staff is very rude, some of them We’re extremely kind and polite but when checking in the woman we dealt with was NOT pleasant. Customer service should be key.

Its alright- not the best.... similar to the days inn in flatwoods, WV. Convoluted comp breakfast process... may as well not bother. Smelled a little. There are other hotels in the smokies for similar prices that are better. Keep your socks on while on the carpets.

Roaches in our room. Spoke to what turned out to be the manager and she blew my off it wasn’t until I spoke to another employee and showed her pictures that the manager chose to offer us a $16 refund on a $400 stay. The restaurant they provide vouchers for across the street had bugs also crawling behind the booths. Do not recommend

Everything was good except the bed wa svery uncomfortable. So neither hubby or a I was able to sleep. Thencat 6am the fire alarm went off and woke everyone up and we had to go outside. That made everyone aggravated caus eit was a false alarm. But other than that it was a good stay. Please get new beds!

Hotel is in a good location. Room was clean. A couple of parts of the hotel seem a little run down, but there is construction happening, so I’m sure they are taking care of that. Front desk staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t very friendly either. I loved the included buffet breakfast! All in all, a very nice stay.
