We wasnt able to even check in bc there was no staff at the facility. No one answered the desk phone and the "emergency " number displayed on the doors mailbox was full. Called customer service for howard johnson and they were no help. Not refunded. Extremely unhappy. Was out in the cold with my mom with heart and breathing problems and my 5 year old daughter.

This hotel is dirty. They do nothing about noise complaints. It took two days to get the full bedding for our beds. The hotel staff will not get a manager. They say he has different hours and they do not know when he will be in the employees at work. There are from Jamaica on work permits and they laugh at you if you request anything Rude staff dirty rooms with bugs

Didn’t get this day didn’t get to see you till after purchase that check-in was till 12 AM. Tried calling the hotel no answer and was like 10 PM. Call the branch and the guy gave me a number to call and said they called when you’re closer they would be able to do a late check in. Got there and Leslie calling standing outside for an hour. Didn’t get to sleep

The staff pretty much were on their cell phones even when interacting with guests. When i checked in the young lady was engaged in a video call and half assed addressed me. The grounds were deplorably filthy. Trash all over the place that was never touched during my entire stay. Only two towels in thd room?? No hand towels or washcloths. Room was never serviced but they went in my room?? Why go in and do nothing?? Coffee but no coffee maker? No cups of any kind? My room was generally clean so i stayed but doubtful i would ever consider this if i had my family with me. The staff got a little argumentative with me in the fact my key cards stopped working everyday and i had to take them to be reset (as did at least 3 other guests i bumped in to down there doing the same) I wasnt my phone or credit card. One day my card and the one i have my son both were dead. The next day i left one in the car and kept on in my pocket..later that day both didn't work. Every day this was occuring...someone evidently didnt know what they were doing...you could do mucj better for staff. Let's just say this is the second worst place i have stayed in Pigeon Forge and i come there a few times a year for over a decade.

Staff was worried about phone conversations. Room floor was nasty and sticky. Asked to have it mopped. Never did it. Had to go get towels too. Couldn't do breakfast cause door was locked at 720am. When asked about it he said they had a granola bar and coffee.

Positives: The water is hot and staff I encountered upon check-in were friendly, a man at the Front Desk and a lady in the Laundry area. Negatives: Toilet's leaking water from base, batroom is filthy, loaded with black mold, like it had barely been wiped down ever, and never seen a cleaning product, I have pics. Roaches, reasonable given that from before I got there to after I left, loads of food trash all over the ground, like a fast food place was dumping overflow, right at the base of the stairs. Grounds are poorly kept. Towels on the ground and stairs, for at least two days, longer from the look. As was trash from rooms. My stay was for two nights. I never utilized the bed because it appeared that someone had just been laying in the bed, pillows stacked for back support, and some dirt at what would be heel area for someone laying on the bed, with the TV positioned such, it was in direct line of sight. Other than showering and sitting in a chair to sleep for a couple hours, my stuff packed in the car as to avoid unwanted pests, I didn't utilize the room... it's actually cleaner than when I arrived, just empty the trash can in the bathroom. My keycard did work the next day, they had to recode. I turned in the second card at that time, in addition to two extra keycards laying on the ground, in plain sight. I turned in my keycard early am at the front desk window, where the window is taped and a piece of cardboard is shoved in the slot.

Property was a mess trash every were. They advertise free breakfast. They told us they didn't feel like fixing it. Ceiling was chipping away, water leaking on floor in bathroom, coming out from the wall. Door and walls filthy. Will never be back. Staff doesn't care.

I don't use to complain when I receive a bad service. I usually keep going and don't look back. First thing was when we got to the room there are no face and hand towels in bathroom. Just two old shower towels that looks like been in service about five or ten years although they knowing we are there persons in the room me,my wife and my daughter. So we decided to go to nearest Walmart to buy it. The nightmare started when the night came down. We had cockroaches everywhere and we have to go back to Walmart to buy roach killer so, we could sleep. We think that our neighbors in the other side of the walls had the same problem as us with the cockroaches too because we heard noises... (no not those noises you are thinking about)... like someone hitting the walls with hard object like flip flops or shoes. Although they advertise free breakfast the next morning we went out for breakfast thinking that if there were cockroaches in our room the building and the kitchen could be infested too. So, for us one time is enough. We will never go back to that hotel.

From the minute we checked was a horrible experience the person checkin us in did not tell us anything about the breakfast when we got to room there were no towels or washcloths had to go back to office where she gave me towels told me there wasnt any washcloths so off to walmart we went to purchase some washcloths 2n day get back to room and our key card does not open room so i went to office again lobby door locked had a # to call in case of emergency so i call it several times get a recording sying unable to leave message voice mail box is full i banged on door severl minutes no answer i did get a text asking my issue i explained it same girl from checkin opens door and gives me 2 new door cards they work. When we got in room saw room was not made up so off to office again for new towels and again no answer when banging on door so i send a text explaining issue again was told that someone would bring towels to my room well that never happened next morning went to lobby again for towels different girl gave me towels and washcloths messages sent to me stated they dont have daily maid service if the checkin girl had told me that i would have requested enough towels for my 4 day stay. Never again this was a very dirty establishment trash outside building room missing light bulbs i had to clean tub drain since water would not drain and there was so much hair in drain i did take pictures of that also beds looked like a 5 yr old made them bed skirt not properly on bed all crook

They advertised free. Breakfast. They only had coffee . No explanation from workers as they ate. Other guests were also complaining. No one at the front desk to discuss it with . When we checked in we had NO linens. Another guest came in with the same issue. The bathroom floor had built up crud. This was the worst room I have ever had

This hotel was so dirty. It had not been cleaned and had trash behind the chair, coving duct taped to the wall, toilet had not been cleaned, deadbolt broken with black marks covering the back of the door. Staff was not friendly or helpful at all. Breakfast was from 8:30 to 9 AM with nothing there but granola bars would not recommend staying here at all.
