The room was lovely! It not only looked, but also felt clean, which is important. I also enjoyed the way our room was decorated. The bed was very soft and the air conditioning was great too. The man who helped check us in was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would return!

Great stay!

We absolutely love this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean and we were close to New Hope and Peddlers Village. This was the second time we stayed. Live music and great food in the bar area. One of the best parts of the stay is the breakfast voucher for Groveland Grill. It's a 30 second drive or 2 minute walk and their food is really really great.

Upstairs is in need of renovation!

This inn is excellent in some respects and only average in others- the restaurant and bar areas are inviting and food is good. However, the hotel facilities are very outdated and in need of renovation. We have stayed here twice as the proximity to the bike trail around the Delaware River is good. However, the rooms need a good makeover- our television did not work. Despite not one but two hotel employee assistance, no one could get the remotes to work!! We decided to forgo its use. The shower was adequate but the water pressure is definitely poor and hot water was marginal at best.

Not for us.

Not a terrible place but it’s not a comfortable stay. The bed was insanely small and hard. Also the shower is very small so if you are tall/plus size I can see it being a very hard situation. I’m short and slim and I still couldn’t shave my legs. I can appreciate that it’s an old building but it’s just lacking in comfort. I will also point out that because it’s old you can hear every word spoken in the restaurant below. Fortunately it quieted down at a reasonable hour.

Wonderful place- quaint, cozy, great bar and restaurant in the hotel. Excellent staff. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because of small issues. No USB ports in any rooms or public spaces, shower was hard to use AND no staff in the lobby after 10. We weren’t aware we would be locked out and were only told the room keys opened the lobby door, after we questioned the staff the next morning.

One hundred percent recommend

Excellant stay at a modern inn. Rooms were very spacious and bed super comfortable. Close to everything but the best food and value for your money around. Icecream shop on the premises as well. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
