On the Ionian side of Basilicata, immersed in nature and the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub, Villa Tre Archi is an independent villa located in Pisticci in the province of Matera. Here you can spend relaxing days reading a book, sunbathing in total privacy, enjoying a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. The "White City", as the small village of Pisticci is called for its white houses with red roofs, stands on a hill surrounded by the Calanchi Lucani, immense clayey furrows, which give the whole area a lunar landscape, a true jewel to admire, but also the ideal place to walk to discover hidden corners. In 15 minutes by car you can reach the Ionian coast with its golden sandy beaches, shallow waters and crystal clear sea, where you can also find restaurants, bars and supermarkets open all year round. Its position offers numerous tourist opportunities: about 53 km away is the city of Matera with its "Sassi", a UNESCO world heritage site, while on the coast you can visit the archaeological park of the ancient Greek city of Metaponto, with the "Palatine Tables” and other temples dedicated to Athena, Apollo and Aphrodite. Bari airport is 111 km away.
