We have been staying here for over 10 years and even during the renovations of the hotel. This is the first time we have had anything negitive to say about our stay. The room was dusty and not clean. The air conditioning made some very loud strange noises everytime it reached the temperature it was set at. House keeping missed cleaning our room. The breakfast use to be very good but now the items on the buffet were luke warm and the scrambled eggs were a hard mess.

Staff was really nice and helpful when there was an issue. Hotel in general is older but updated, and honestly has some cosmetic things that need fixed, but is generally pretty lovely inside.

Good Hotel but depending on location of room noisy
Stopped for the night as travelling and passing through, was hoping for a good nights sleep. Hotel is clean and updated, very nice lobby. Were placed in room 217 by the elevators. Elevator noise was extremely loud in our room and was in constant use at all times. Initially when asked could not be moved as hotel was fully booked and they did not have earplugs on site. Travelling manager helped us to find a pharmacy close by that was still open so we left to go buy earplugs. 30db earplugs did not help with elevator noise but, they called to check in and were able to move us to another room around 11pm. we were told it was not near the elevators but still ended up somewhat near elevators and facing lobby. There were about 40-50 people in the lobby at midnight as there was a wedding and also hockey tournament in town. Was noisy but significantly better than being right beside the elevator. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Unsure if we would stay again only because there is no way to know for sure whether you will get a room near the very loud elevators and we typically check in fairly late due to travel.

Great spacious Hotel with a great FREE parking lot. Did not experience the pool or gym. Famous Doubletree Cookies were amazing and the staff was GREAT! Lori and Rachel from front desk went above and beyond what I asked of them. Only downfall from weekend experience was the elevator went down when 2 big wedding groups were coming back from their events so the line was Long but minor issue in the grand scheme of things.
