We took our daughter to Pittsburgh to a play at the Byham Theater for her 16th birthday. We stayed at the Renaissance because it was right next door. We enjoyed the old charm of the hotel and the convenience of its location.

Wonderful stay!!! Great service provided by front desk and a special shout out to Dennis in engineering. Are air wasn’t working so we called the front desk and they sent Dennis up. He quickly found the issue and resolved it quickly and efficiently. Thanks again for a great time in the burg!!!

Hallways needed vaccuumed. Curtains broken and shreaded. Bed light falling out. Room was hot and couldn't turn down the temprature. Requested and paid for an upper level executive corner room. What I got was a bottom floor handicap room with a fold out bed and one chair. I expected more for $300 a night. I have the pictures to prove it too bad I cant post them.

Great Location, dated yet smelly. Staff is amazing
The Hotel is a bit Dated, the Lobby smells like wet carpet and wet dog. and the Elevators smell bad. The Reception area tucked away and not appealing. Was not happy with the discrepancy in nightly pricing during my 5 night stay one night in the 180s another night is almost 360...this is the first time I really checked my rates and it was surprisingly alarming and disappointing. Why use Hotel.com? easier I just call the Hotel. Finally you have to request your room refreshed and Vacuumed which are two different services. Carpets in rooms need to be changed.
