Checking in: The person at the desk informed me that if I booked online I may not have a room. Luckily, unlike the couple checking in before me, I was given a room.
Upon entering the room there was a strong smell of cannabis even though this was supposed to be a non-smoking room.
Room: Jacuzzi didnât work (I wouldnât have used it anyway). The furnishings were well used (nicks and gouges in the wood). The bathroom had been redone. Shower, sink and toilet all seemed new. The bed was fine but the blanket was really old and looked dirty. Cleanliness of the room was ok.
I donât like giving bad reviews but felt I needed to say something so others wonât be surprised.
Location seemed sus- people wandering around the back parking lot. They only gave us 2 pillows and 1 towel. The phone did not work, there were drawers missing and mold on the ceiling outside the room.
We booked here two weeks early and paid in advance. I called and let them know we would be checking in a little late. They gave our room away and we were there by 10 pm. Expedia covered an upgrade, but we couldn't put our one year old to bed until 2 am, once they found is a room. Again, it was reserved and paid for in advance. I don't care if i wanted to leave the room empty. I already paid for it. Glad i got the travel insurance!
