Check in process was long and horrible. The resort was not even busy, they refused to let us check in early and no room upgrade with my platinum status. Food was below average in buffet and other specialty restaurants. It was a very disappointing all inclusive vacation that we have ever had.

Let me start by saying the first impressions were great! The welcome staff is very nice and helpful, the area is beautiful, our view was amazing. The room was nice and cold, beds were pretty good! Now. There was only one working outlet we could find across the room away from the bed, only a few lights worked, there wasn’t a real door on the bathroom so privacy wasn’t much of an option (we went as a girls trip) a lot of it is dated and needing a refresh. When it would rain, the whole place smelled heavily of sewage and would flood the walkways, unfortunately it rained a lot. We had a few very rude encounters with the staff treating us as an inconvenience. All the food we had was hospital food. It was bland and all kind of tasted the same. There is only one designated smoking area and it’s tucked back away from everything and it isn’t well covered. The drinks were good and easy to come by, I did get a few dirty cups, though.they kept our room well stocked. It was a very 50/50 experience. We did some additional experiences that made the stay special and the event staff is so sweet and helpful, they made it easy to schedule massages and a special beach dinner. I don’t know if I would go back to this resort, but it’s great for a starter couple or a budget friendly option.

The property is a little older and needs some updating. It was clean and staff were friendly. Food options were lacking but it was good food for the price paid. Only 2 pools on site, gym was very small. Entertainment in the evening was good. The activity pool would play music, however the swim up bar was also playing music, which made no sense at all, they are right next to each other.

The resort is nice and its the stsff who made it a great experience. Food was ok at best except for Dolce and the Hibachi Japanese restaurant. Quite far from Cancun. Do not waste your time and money on the Isla Murijes catamaran trip. We felt like sardines packed into shuttle and food was horrible. Worst Mexican food i have ever had and we live in Texas. The pool party was great and made alott of vacation friends. We would go again but now we know what to expect

Need more stores for shopping and more night-time events. Everyone is sitting around waiting for something to happen at night and nothing ever happens. Need night-time dancing on the property.
