I will start saying that If you go and have an accident please do not use the doctor from the hotel it’s very very expensive.(this is a big resort so medical should be part of their inclusive) But if by any chance you really have to go with her DO NOT USE THE CLINIC OR HOSPITAL THEY RECOMMEND which is HOSPITEN CANCUN, it’s super expensive you can ask for a taxi or crab to take you to a different hospital private off course but reasonably priced. Do not walk with the doctor to take the taxi or crab because she with send the driver the HOSPITEN CANCUN which is the clinic they use to rob or extra charged the costumers. So, overall the hotel is nice but the way the let the medical department abuse from the guests its not ok.

My concierge Krystel was nothing short of amazing. I loved how she assisted with booking dinning each night. She went over and beyond on and off the clock to ensure we had a great stay. The property is beautiful and full of things to keep everyone busy and happy. This was a much needed vacation and loved every bit of it. The staff at the resort was super nice from front desk, maintenance, housekeeping , servers and etc. a must go and book with Expedia. Will go no wrong.

Staff service in the restaurant was outstanding. There was no staff cleaning up around the pool area every morning. Cups from the bar were left all over the pool area. In the Diamond Club pool guests had no different treatment than non diamond club guests you had to get your own drinks. Staff wasn't walking around asking if you need anything. The only perk about the diamond club was the butler service & they were outstanding. The food was hit or miss.

We had an amazing time at this new property. Booking through Expedia gave us access to a dedicated concierge, Alex, who was incredible. We could text him for anything, and he handled everything seamlessly. From making dinner reservations to ensuring our satisfaction, Alex took care of it all. When housekeeping missed our room one day, we reached out to him, and it was promptly resolved. The food options were excellent, with the buffet offering a variety that kept things interesting. In the evenings, the animation team put on fantastic, engaging shows that added to the overall experience. We will definitely be coming back!

Diamond Club not so 'shiny'
My recent stay was meant to be a new experience for me and my partner. I was excited to introduce him to “all-inclusive resort vacations” in hopes of making this an annual tradition. Overall, the property was beautifully appointed, great selection of restaurants (food and service was inconsistent), and lot of other amenities. Relative to the hype and what I paid for, I was disappointed in the Royalton’s ability to meet my expectations for a luxury all-inclusive experience. This is especially pointed as I purchased the Diamond Club (DC) package for exclusivity. The marketing seems intentionally vague and suggests that the DC guests are housed in a specific wing of the resort, as there is a specific pool area just for DC. That was not the case. The DC experience did not feel like it catered to guest who wanted a quieter vacation experience. The butler service which was offered with the DC was not as attentive as I would expect which led to matters being escalated to a manager. While the initial matter (room change) was resolved, the general lack of exclusivity advertised with the DC package continued during our stay. Another feature of the DC package was an offer to meet with the Prime Travel Club on-site. While initially interested, the legal contract was not fair which was disappointing and a massive waste of time. More work needs to be done to ensure attentiveness to guests who have purchased a DC experience and making that truly differentiated.

We had an amazing time here. The staff was absolute amazing. Krystle did everything to make sure my daughter enjoyed her 18th birthday. Our double room was perfect for our family of 4. It allowed parents a little personal space from their young adults, but still enough room to keep an eye on them. It was a great experience.

Excelente lugar para tener unas vacaciones inolvidables, la atención de todos los trabajadores excepcional pero en especial de Krystel, un servicio en general de calidad, la comida buena, y dentro del hotel todo lo que necesitas para no tener que salir porque tiene muchas actividades todo el tiempo y para todas las edades. Yo vuelvo pronto porque me encantó.

Beautiful resort! The property has three huge pools (one diamond club only) and two lazy rivers (one diamond club only). Don’t buy into the hype of diamond club you pretty much get everything diamond club features, so why spend extra for that. The restaurants are good, the steakhouse could have better quality meats. And the smokehouse should be geared more towards authentic bbq food but it tasted more like the buffet food. The Mexican food tasted like American food, it’s bland. The buffet food has a lot of variety but none of us were crazy about the taste of it all. If you don’t ask for a certain preferred alcohol they’ll serve bottom shelf so make sure to indicate what alcohol you prefer. The rooms are cleaned daily, twice a day if diamond club. Room service food options are limited every day. Fridge is stocked daily. The kids will have a blast here. There are about 12 slides but not all of them are open on a daily basis and for some you have to meet height requirements and/or age requirements. Paying for a view of the beach or the pool is worth it. The beach is not good, water looked brown, lots of sargassum! Sometimes the resort smelled like rotten eggs due to the mangroves nearby. The people who work there are friendly but they usually don’t smile or greet you when you walk past them. Check in was a breeze and they offer drinks during check in. They do charge $4.65 in resort fees per day. WiFi is free and works pretty well throughout the property.
