Resort was beautifully maintained, the amenities were plentiful, and the drinks were fantastic. Food at the restaurants was very good, the food trucks were a great way to enjoy the day without leaving the pool. The only issue my wife and I had was the pool temperature. The water was very cold, but after a couple drinks that was resolved. Great staff at every spot at the resort.

Beautiful resort with fantastic staff. The restaurants are all amazing! Love that you don’t have to make reservations ahead of time for all of the restaurants. Plenty of activities and entertainment on property, you don’t need to leave.

Everything was great – the food was delicious, well-presented, and the room was clean. The service was always prompt and helpful. However, I did notice two issues: first, the beach had a lot of rocks, which made it challenging to walk without slippers. Second, I believe adding a jacuzzi by the pool would be a wonderful addition, especially during the winter season.

While there were some positive aspects to my experience, overall I found it to be quite disappointing compared to other all-inclusive adult-only properties I have visited. Pros: The resort is well-maintained, with clean walking areas that made exploring the grounds a pleasant experience. Housekeeping did a fabulous job of keeping our accommodations tidy and replenished with necessary items, which I greatly appreciated. The bars, especially Don Miguel, offered a nice ambiance and were a highlight of my stay. Cons: However, several issues detracted from my overall enjoyment. Unfortunately, the clientele at the resort did not meet my expectations, and I often felt surrounded by disrespectful behavior reminiscent of a less refined environment. This may have contributed to the staff’s demeanor; I found the staff to be inconsistent in their friendliness. On multiple occasions, I felt as though I was in their way rather than being welcomed as a guest. The dining experience was another area of concern. The food was generally mediocre, with the exception of the French restaurant and Mar & Tiera, which were both enjoyable. Room service was particularly disappointing; I received a raw hamburger on one occasion, and most food delivered was cold. In summary, while my friends made the trip enjoyable, the overall experience fell short of my expectations. I had hoped for a much more relaxing and welcoming environment , as I have experienced at other properties.

Hello, I hope my e-mail finds you well. I have texted w/one of your representatives regarding my experience @ the resort. May you please check your records? I.E. Unprofessional/Rude Staff @ French and Japanese Restaurant. The resort prides itself in no reservations, but upon arrival at their restaurants @ opening time (i.e., 6:00 pm) you are told to wait or leave. At both restaurants mentioned above the hostesses were rude, unprofessional, and one of them (i.e., Kenya-French Restaurant) screamed at me for no reason. Thank you!

Wow wow wow. I’m not one that likes to visit the same place twice but I found myself planning my next trip while still there. Please eat at the food trucks. The pool is a vibe. The birds, the resort itself. We got a beach front room and it was amazing. Waking up to the beach was surreal. If you want to get into the beach BRING WATER SHOES. Service amazing. Food was good (Churro cart at night) but nothing to write home about but definitely the best all inclusive food I’ve had.

The property itself was gorgeous. The staff was very kind and helpful, but almost a little too helpful… Our concierge would call us every morning at around 9am in the morning, and it would wake us up. We finally started unplugging our phones. The restaurants were beautiful… But the food wasn’t that great. The presentation was amazing, but then the taste left something to be desired. The bars are great, but the drinks were weak. Overall, a beautiful resort, but will most likely look at different options if we decide to go back.

We visited in November 2024 and everything was excellent. The dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were great and the service was amazing. The pool bars are good and bartenders hardworking. Also there is a good wildlife on the resort grounds.

We look forward each time to seeing Sonya at the pool and Amanda in the cigar lounge. We have come alone as a couple and also with groups of friends. Recently there have begun to be incidents that the resort refuses to handle (you can find more on these on the unofficial Facebook groups about Valentin) after security takes 20-30 minutes to arrive in the first place. While we were at the pool a woman was verbally mistreating staff and a man spoke up about it. She got upset and went to find her husband who promptly swam across the pool and punched him in the face and busted the man's lip open. My husband tended to the man who was punched while our friend held the other man back. That day the manager told my husband that they were going to move the man to another hotel. That night we saw them in the sports bar so my husband went to talk to the manager again and at the same time the group got kicked out of the sports bar for being drunk and throwing water but were then allowed to just move to the courtyard where there was music and another bar. Another night they were back in the sports bar taunting our group and the man whos face he punched. Each night my husband nicely asked the manager when he would be kicked out and we were told that they couldn't because he booked through a travel agency.
