Cons- Really no beach to swim in. 2 bars and under staffed. Food was just ok. A little inconvenient to get to the Mexican and Italian restaurant. Drinks were just ok but the blended drinks were delicious. Small pool for the size of the hotel which made it impossible to get some lounge chairs so we had to pay for a cabana for 2 days. Any room service you order is a $10 fee. Pros- Staff was amazing friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the main street of downtown Playa Del Carmen. Very clean hotel. Most rooms have a nice view. Blended drinks were delicious. Pool and night entertainment were fun.

this was an awesome first vacation for my boyfriend and i! the resort was smaller, two pools and small beach access, but we were still able to do something different each day! the beach is not very swimable, there are lots of rocks but the beach bar is lovely to sit at and watch locals fish in the shallow water. the all inclusive food/drinks were awesome! we didn’t do many dinners here, we walked to the 5th ave shopping street that had a lot more options, but thinking about the money we saved on food/drinks during the day it made it worth it to go out at night! the staff and service was amazing, the cleaners, bartenders, waiters were all so nice and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this property!

Didn't like that there was no beach. Loved the short walk to 5th Ave and enjoyed the shops and restaurants there. Too many beach beds surrounding the pool taking space away from pool loungers. Staff were all friendly and amazing. Food was great

Mold / Mildew Rooms. Broken Promises.

Have stayed here before and in past, it was a nice stay. Beautiful resort and pool, BUT my wife was charged EXTRA due to a computer mistake. We were then placed in a room that had MOLD / Mildew in it. I have the photos of it. We could smell it immediately and at the time, we were told there was no other rooms. On second day, I complained and we were both sick and could hardly breathe. The Manager Rafael moved us up to third level into a new room. It was perfect and we could breathe again although it took us a week to recover so we didn’t use much of the resort food, restaurants, and alcohol. Rafael promised to refund us the a part of the extra person charge that should have never happened for a couple celebrating an anniversary but it NEVER happened so we disputed the entire charges to our cards. We received NO CREDIT reimbursement as promised/

For the price they charge per night they should also include free transportation shuttle from airport to hotel, the room even though I booked ocean view and not partial view we only got partial view the rest parking lot, beach access wasn’t even really a beach. Disappointed with the beach. If you want a nice clear water beach with lots of sand and room this isn’t the place to be

We had an amazing stay here! The food was delicious, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the location is right in town - it’s perfect. The only downfall for us was that the beach this property is on is very rocky, you can’t really swim here. We ended up going to the other side where there were no rocks so we could enjoy the ocean. Other than that, we loved it.

The pools were excellent and the staff was also great. Ate at all of the restaurants. Only disappointment was the steak restaurant. The steak was very mediocre. The Italian and Sushi restaurants were outstanding, and the Mexican, buffet, and pizza places were good. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The alcohol was ok, definitely plenty of it but had to try a few different drinks early to find things that tasted great and then stick with them.
