place was nice but our main floor room was near a main side out door so we heard the heavy door slam all morning long starting very very early in the morning.

The room was advertised on the Expedia website as sleeping up to 5 persons. Our party was 4 adults and the room had one King size bed and one full size pull out sofa. How they thought those two beds could accommodate up to 5 people is beyond my understanding.

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Quinta Inn and Suites in Pocatello, and I must say, it was a breath of fresh air in the midst of a long road trip. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere - the lobby's modern decor and comfortable seating area made me feel like I was stepping into a cozy living room. The room itself was a haven of comfort, with plush beds, crisp linens, and a spacious layout that made me feel right at home. But what truly set La Quinta apart was the exceptional service - the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. The hotel's amenities were also top-notch, from the delicious hot breakfast buffet to the relaxing indoor pool and hot tub. And let's not forget the stunning views of the surrounding mountains - a beautiful reminder of the natural beauty that awaits just outside the doorstep. If I have one suggestion, it would be to add a bit more variety to the breakfast menu - but honestly, that's a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional stay. Overall, I would highly recommend La Quinta Inn and Suites to anyone passing through Pocatello - it's a true gem in the heart of Idaho."

The room was very nice, and had plenty of open space. It was clean and quiet. Only problem was the ocupent before us took the TV remote. A single call down to the front desk and within the hour matinance was there programing a new remote. In all, one of the better places i have stayed at.

The property was a little dirty compared to previous stays, elevator floor was dirty at check in and was dirty when we left. Text was sent to me to online check out which I did and stated we would be leaving at 10 AM. 9 AM we get a knock on the door for cleaning and maid service? Why ask if the cleaners are going to knock?
