The convenience of the property was perfect. We were using the ferry to Vancouver Island and the Red Lion was a perfect spot for coming and going. The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant a good choice. It is also a central location with many shops and restaurants fi you are needing to wait patient for your next transportation adventure.

Great little place close to the wharf. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Rooms are clean and large. They had a laundry room which was nice since we had been doing a lot of hiking in the Olympic National Park.

The ferry horn blasting early morning. The boat club teenagers talking early morning near our room. A crying baby going on for nearly half an hour. No hot tub. Downsized to queen bed with no discount.

It's a nice place to spend one or two nights. The rooms. are nice, spacious and clean. The swimming pool and hot tub are being repaired so we could not use them; that should have been disclosed. The restaurant next door is better than I expected it to be with nice wait service. All around a good place to be as we await the ferry to Victoria!
