When we pulled up, we noticed the lawn was in desperate need of mowing and had trash on the ground. The house decor and cleanliness were great, an improvement from the outside. We placed water and breakfast items which were all cold, from our ice chest into the fridge. The freezer was producing ice; however, the refrigerator was not cooling off, so we made sure to let the kids know not to open the fridge. That evening as we went to shower in the master bathroom, we noticed the shower was broken. I contacted vacasa through text due to the high call volume that evening and finally got a response around noon the next day. We also let management know that the fridge was still not cooling off, and the top bunks only had sheets, so whoever slept there ended up freezing. The property manager continuously told me that if the freezer works, then the refrigerator works…it FINALLY cooled what little items we had, which were cold from the ice chest we transported them in on the last night. In response to the shower, maintenance was aware, and the part had been ordered, which meant we would need to take baths or share the other shower. Then asked if the ac could be adjusted rather than sending proper blankets for the top bunks. Thankfully, when we returned to the house the second evening, there was a bag with blankets for the bunks. Regardless of the issues, we enjoyed our time there and would suggest outside tables and possibly higher chairs on the balcony. Unfortunately, the pictures do not show that the vegetation dunes have grown and been built up; therefore, you can not watch the kids play on the shore and sit comfortably on the patio. If, for some reason, you need to contact property management, don’t expect much.
